Re: George Miller made available for transfer

This is a knock-on effect from giving Matty Taylor such a long deal on good money. We can’t shift him, so now we have to move on the player competing with him to start upfront, even if he’s younger/better and maybe worth a lot more in a year or two. We never used to hand out big deals to older playe...

Re: Michael Flynn after win at Notts County

Thomas has a 150k release clause and hasn’t signed a new deal. Anyone who thought he’d be here next year was either unaware of that or is daft. Of the teams linked, Hibs seem the most likely destination. Ethan did sign a new deal but given Flynn’s comment it’s pretty clear that that was to either ad...

This is a really deep cut here but if anyone remembers Guy Madjo (came in from Crawley, 7 appearances, no goals, left for Shrewsbury)…? His son Brian made his international debut yesterday for Luxembourg at the age of 16 in a 1-0 win over Sweden (and looks like a serious talent - look up the highlig...

Marlon Pack getting abused by Portsmouth fans and going straight down the tunnel after their defeat last night - getting lots of stick on social media too. With Pell out for the season, can we have a whip round to bring him home on loan?

Re: CTFC Up for sale

I think it’s an attractive proposition for the American market. The cost barrier to entry in the US is brutal - the easiest way in is founding a club in the USL Championship (entry cost: $20m), with MLS franchises in the high hundreds of millions - and then you have to make your own history and stor...

Re: CTFC Up for sale

There is greater potential for the club than some folks think. Cheltenham is a growing town with a large catchment area for football. Right now the ceiling is down to those who are prepared to come to a stadium with limited parking and facilities, with a dilapidated main stand with uncomfortable sea...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Accrington Stanley

What worries me about Flynn is his judgment - Bradbury clearly isn’t finished and has a part to play; Kinsella shouldn’t have been on the verge of being bombed out in August. It’s taken injuries to get them back in the side but they’ve been absolutely crucial in the small bright spots we’ve had late...

Amazing save by Evan’s at the death there but what the absolute f#!$ hell is our defence doing giving up a free header in the 96th minute when we’ve got 10 men back, yikes

Re: Whither iFollow (for international fans)?

No trickplay (rewind or jump back) means this is significantly worse than the past experience - I often have the audio only then jump into the feed to watch goals back, now if I miss something I have to hope there’s a replay (and it took ages for them to replay the second goal there)

Thomas Must Not Start

I feel like this needs writing in big letters and underlining - with all the injuries we don’t have much in the way of game changers or a change of style/pace off the bench. We have to keep Thomas fresh to come on later and add a new dimension, worry the other defence if we need a goal or stretch th...
