Re: New strip
I like the new Errea Luxembourg away with the gradient colours - could do a variation on this with red/ruby-black-white with the same three colours on the sleeve trim (and no collar!)

Re: Farewells
Do we know why Mr Bence is going? On another subject, any news on Luke Southwood. Shame we couldn't give him the send off that we gave to the rest of the team this afternoon. A great asset to the side and an amazing two year stint with us. If you are on your way Luke, "thank you"! It’s a ...

Re: Whatever happens…
All of this. After that start we knew where we were probably heading - all I wanted was for us to take it as deep as possible, and ideally to the last day. One more project for DC.

Re: Deciding games
Steve Evans the early favourite to return to Rotherham after they sacked their management team… could see us facing a team with no manager and nothing to play for on the final day.

Thomas Must Not Start
I feel like this needs writing in big letters and underlining - with all the injuries we don’t have much in the way of game changers or a change of style/pace off the bench. We have to keep Thomas fresh to come on later and add a new dimension, worry the other defence if we need a goal or stretch th...

Re: Barnsley v Cheltenham Town
I thought Sloggett was the star of the midfield today - snapping into tackles when we pressed, composed in possession. One mistake early on but grew into things and you’d never have guessed that was his first Football League start. Tough place to make a first start. By contrast I thought Pett looked...

Re: League One - clubs in crisis
I empathise with their fanbase, but they didn't seem overly concerned when blowing Cambridge out of the water to sign Knibbs and Smith in the summer. Everything’s connected, and every club has a section of the fan base that can’t realize this. The week we reported a 500k loss due primarily to incre...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Charlton Athletic
Oh there goes Matty Taylor :( The biggest moment of the season. We were in the ascendency and looked like winning from there. In a flash the whole mood changes, we have no starting number 9 for the season (probably), Charlton get the momentum and go on to win. I hope I’m wrong but that’s probably t...

Re: Wycombe Wanderers v Cheltenham Town
The other side of the good recent form is that teams that were underestimating us are now more likely to… estimate us. I’m sure some of the teams we’ve outfought recently thought they were rolling up to face the 1-goal-and-1-point-in-11-misfits of October, whereas from here on in we’re going to get ...

Reasons to be cheerful: - Southwood is a Championship keeper on sabbatical with us. Savour him while we can - Thomas has something about him. Only a 30 minute cameo but it has been ages since we had a winger who likes to drop a shoulder and have a go Reasons to not be cheerful: - The crushing weigh...

No complaints about the pen, he’s stuck his hand out - may as well pick it up. Incredible save though, and did well to hold it before Curtis Davies could volley in the rebound

Re: Sunderland 'til I die
Etete looked a proper prospect, 6’ 5 and mobile, caused problems even if he didn’t score many. I suspect if he doesn’t add more goals to his game hell be back at our level soon enough - 2 all season at Cardiff.

Re: League One - clubs in crisis
Yeah, there’s plenty of dodgy stuff around but that Max Bird deal seems fine to me. He’s out of contract in the summer but Derby would get a fee as he’s 23 (similar situation to Will Ferry) - they were prepared to let him run his deal down so long as he didn’t leave in January. This way City avoid c...

Surprised by this - well, not surprised in that he has 1 goal in 20 odd games, but his release clause was significantly more expensive than Keena’s so maybe that’s just a loan to get his confidence back.

This is kind of a leveller - the uneven money each club makes from their own domestic iFollow income replaced with everyone getting an even share of the larger deal. I’d be interested to know how many international subscribers we have!

Re: 16 games to go
The best way to ensure we don’t have away fans in the CF is for us to get home fans in there - if we can build on this form and get the word out that we’re capable of pulling off a legendary escape, then maybe a few hundreds of the casual fans can be convinced to come be a part of it.
