Steve Evans. I'm sure that would go some way towards decreasing the current levels of toxicity around the place.

Re: Crewe Alexandra v Cheltenham Town
Spoke to Curtis Davis at half time and he was positive about our first half performance, that we were much the better side. Saying “we” this “we” that, was good to hear, still very much invested.

Re: Darrell Clarke
Reading through some comments on the Barnsley forum in the thread about Duff getting the boot, a lot of them would want Duff back, acknowledging that he left for good money and an opportunity to manage in the Championship and that Duff said himself that he probably left Barnsley too soon.

Bad week for the former Robins managers.
“Relieved of his duties”, just like Duff was, on both club statements.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Walsall
Get in there!!! What a comeback again. We didn’t give up. Williams aged 18 running over to console Stubbs after his error who has been magnificent and not put a foot wrong for many weeks, shows spirit. Stubbs then playing up front with AJB, Bakare and Bradbury as a back 3 and everyone else pushed up...

Re: Best team and formation?
Walsall play 352 so if we stick with what’s working for us, we could look to hurt them down the wings although they’d have an extra central midfielder

Switched to Gills commentary and they were comparing Thomas to Messi I.e. very left footed. They don’t think he’s going to be playing in this division for long

Commentary gone down, thankfully as Halliwell was going on about how Cheltenham have been able weather the storm against a good league two side and have “got the result they need” as the ball went into the back of the net for Gillingham

Brilliant from Miller. He got the knock down from a long ball into him to lay it off to Thomas, Thomas cut inside to play it to Bradbury. Perfect cross, great header

I didn’t mind the switch of formation at the start and it definitely caught them by surprise and worked with Colwill on the right and Thomas on the left behind Archer. 2 fantastic set piece routines straight off the training ground. It was a hell of an effort. Kinsella - immense, constantly winning ...
