pretty sure 1000+ away weren't uncommon in the late 90's, or am I misty eyed on that?

Anyone know who the clubs are at our level who own their own grounds? It's murky but I understood Derby and Reading did own their grounds but that was moved to companies under their former/current owners. Portsmouth, Bolton, Lincoln, Burton, Northampton, Cambridge and Wycombe own their grounds base...

Re: Lincoln City

Possibly but I believe Ipswich and Plymouth received quite a bit of US based investment before Wrexham became a thing. I can see the logic with someone like Ipswich, they come invest £20 million and if that money get's them to the Premier league they make a huge return. If it fails it's a relative ...

Re: The board could help

it would be a nice gesture from the club that would show some thanks for a quite awful season and doing their bit to get as many supporters to a vital game.

ST's go on sale soon so maybe a good bit of PR for the club (if they want it).

This was brought up at the forum that the majority of EFL clubs now have American investment however whilst not explicitly stated the indication was that this was not something which would be welcomed here. It's definitely lacking and very noticeable how our midfield has improved when it's Bonds/Pett rather than Pett/Kinsella. Would love to see us add big powerful and pacy forward (similar to Jones for Posh) who can give us an outlet and let us play on the counter attack in the summer no matter which ...

The Cambridge Utd forum is an interesting read, they want the EFL to look into the Peterborough team selection.

tbf if there's a chance of you getting relegated then its not down to one game that Cambridge aren't even competing in.

Murry seems to have a love/hate relationship with the board. It's not the first time he's been on the board and left. Bit odd though, accepting the position as a director you would hope that you're aware of the constraints it will have on your time and your work life (as in you have an idea of how busy your work life is for the foreseeable and therefore accept the role as a director) also Murry 'liking' that anti B...

Are there any players that would miss the game on Saturday if they get yellow carded Tuesday night.

If there isn’t then i’d like to see some players taking one for the team and bringing opposition players down before the inevitable happens, like yesterday.

according to our more ‘radical’ fanbase on the socials there could be some anti Bloxham sentiment today, probably not the best idea to have a ‘prickly’ fans forum a few days before a vital few fixtures.

wouldn’t be surprised if DC leaves if he doesn’t see what he wants to happen regarding ‘growth’, these meetings he has sound like the deal breaker for him. Elliot Bonds is sooo slow and can Taylor spend more time actually trying to win a header rather than ducking out of headers to try and win a fee kick, which isn’t working.

Re: Darrel Clarke after Carlisle defeat

“keep it simple”

by changing to a new formation with a day on the training pitch prior to the game. Why not just use the same system that pushed Exeter in the 2nd half?

I also don’t understand why he continued a whole half when it was quite obvious it wasn’t working after ten minutes?
