Re: Chelt 3-0 Mans Highlights
I haven't download the app but I can still watch the extended highlights on computer and iPhone. Just go onto the ctfc.com website and on the home page scroll down, under fixtures there is 'First Team Videos' all the highlights are there - 10 mins with commentary and replays. Great to watch. Still d...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Notts County
We also have a goalkeeper who deserves a mention, looked like he had lead in his boots for two of the goals ( although from my angle from the stand the first goal was a yard off when the pass was made) . Second goal was a quality finish but followed errors from Dickie, Downes & O'Shaughnessy , t...

Re: National Game Awards
Yes I think the manager of the year award to Cowley is fair given the very limited resources at his disposal. Not sure about Amond ahead of Holman though! I agree with Robin & Shade , apart from scuffing a penalty 'in' Amond went missing in the big games. Against us at home he just seemed to sp...

Really pleased with the result, as the only league club in Glos again hopefully every one of our games will be live on Radio Glos FM as use to be the case. Glad not to have to see Parkin, Carter & Pipe next season, surely Parkin is finished now. Enjoy Solihull & Nth Ferriby FGR

Re: FGR
FGR won't beat Braintree but I can see them beating Grimsby if they get through. I was thinking the opposite, a Wembley resembling a morgue v Braintree would be FGR's best chance and hope the part timers bottle it. Grimsby's support would be like the 12th man in the final, they'd probably take betw...

Re: The Fishy forum will be unbearable tonight
Tranmere also had a number of relegated players they could not move on and I don't believe he had a massive budget either. Robin - I would have thought a good manager could move people on through the season. GJ was good at that. Even Jordan Wynter went out on loan for a while at some point!Tranmere...

Re: The Fishy forum will be unbearable tonight
One game left for Hurst. At last. They should have done what FGR did last week and get rid of him before the PO's. Yup. Or last summer would have been better still. Absolutely not. Given that they have more resources at their disposal than us, I am pleased that Grimsby (and FGR for that matter) kep...

Brilliant Sam this is wonderful , a great review of a season which will live long in the memory. Re: Gary or Ranieri?
I wonder how many teams, in all divisions, had 11 players making their debuts in the first game of the season? Makes Gary's achievement even more remarkable , especially against established squads like FGR and Grimsby. And also sustaining it and having to deal with long term injuries Probably anothe...

Re: Rob Dickie re-signs
Dickie & Pell got 90 mins and will be better for it. Wrexham have still to play Grimsby away today before us,that's a tough ask for them , so I'm pretty confident of a result on Monday. Hoping for a high scoring draw today then with a high tempo performance and Pelly driving the team on ,should ...

But probably more than likely this will be the team against Wrexham.

Re: Two points
Yes I agree , I do think Dickie has been big loss as well. The best football has been when we had the three centre backs and Dickie would make his marauding runs from the back and Munns in midfield worked best and had a freedom all around the pitch. If it didn't work - first half at Grimsby- then th...

Re: Wrexham Ratings
There's an old Rugby adage which goes: "Your forwards determine whether or not you win the game while your backs determine by how many points." I guess that could easily be turned into a football equivalent: "Your defence determines whether or not you lose the game while your attacke...

I was impressed last year with the BT coverage of the Vanarama which includes all play off semi finals and final, so good to see that continue this year plus extra highlights show. Re: Finances!
It was 2200 or a 20% reduction on last years average of 2900. Current attendance average is around 2400 and only likely to grow so I remain hopeful GJ will have a war chest in January for a couple of new players to add to the squad for the run in. Robin - Do you know what the playing budget is this...

This season really reminds of when Cotts was here. We have a team and a manager who you know will give everything and whom you know will likely be right in the promotion mix this season. Too early to say if we can win the league but I have yet to see a side who to a man are better than us over nine...
