Suspected as much. Sods law. Our long term injuries seem to come at the worst times. Never a great time, obviously, but Pell in pre-season, out for basically the entire season. Backwell, two days after signing permanently, at the end of the window. Last season, Street was injured right at the end of...

Only if promoted I think, and even then it’s not a lot in the grand scheme of things. I think we just get the solidarity payment, otherwise.

Too many players in our squad need to impress for next season in order to be on the beach for the last 3 months, I think. If they do, we will know who need cutting in the summer.

Re: Michael Flynn after Fleetwood Town defeat

Interesting formation has been brought up, as it hasn’t been questioned much since we stuck with it, as we had been on a decent run. But it was crying out for a change on Saturday. The lone strikers were far too often isolated, especially Taylor who, imo, does all he can but it isn’t his natural gam...

I don’t think I’ve seen Martin Allen mentioned yet. Just look at the list of loans he brought in and I expect half of them would be on the list of worst.

Best: The Boy Wright. Came in, made our attack click, helped fire us to a football league title.

Re: Fleetwood Town v Cheltenham Town

I really don't understand how we have gone from scoring in every away game this season, and then from new year's day not scoring in 4 in a row, with barely a shot in the last 3 of them, but have looked the better team in the last two despite the lack of creativity.

Everyone's having a go at Taylor but smacking it long to him as a lone striker all the time...what are we expecting from him? Make a chance for him and he might score.

Dulson offers direct running with the ball. Has looked ok in trophy games, but he was never going to do anything on this pitch, especially coming back from injury.

I think we had just about been the better side on an atrocious pitch until the last few minutes of the half. The few times Fleetwood have come forward has been because we're all over the place, and were again for the goal. Every player is struggling to take the ball with them and every shot from out...

Doesn't look like it. Dulson has played on the left in the trophy games he's played as well.

Third time he's been done as well, I believe. Last time he used the same excuse and got a 2 month ban instead of 6 as that wouldn't impact his/others work. He should be banned and get a gigantic fine that is used to pay those who would be losing work due to his repeated idiocy.

Nice. I feel like we scored a lot of late goals in the L2 winning season as we often wore teams out. Or am I confusing it with another season? Re: Penalties (or lack of)

Because we don`t get players into the box with pace very often ? Yeah, quite surprising that Archer and Thomas haven't been fouled yet, given their habit of cutting inside in the penalty area. Jude-Boyd likewise. Pretty sure if playing for other teams, Archer would have had at least two penalties, ...
