Re: Squad needs a shake up
We are missing someone who has that final ball in them in the final third. Azaz is clearly very talented and can take players out of the game with his dribbling but he doesn’t unlock defences. How many times have we seen May put in 1 on 1 this season? No where near enough, he ends up coming deep to ...

Re: What's it all about ?
May is our best striker, would anyone disagree with that? Reid/Williams are next and in my mind the foil for Alfie. I wouldn't, but the most talented doesn't necessarily mean in best form. Again, what does it say to George Lloyd if he's dropped after playing well? He may as well have gone to Dover ...

What's it all about ?
He has started 1 league game this season and scored, started 2 cup games against teams in higher divisions and done well and played 90 mins at left wing in the tin pot cup. You can’t expect him to come on and light the game up from the bench, especially considering he’s often come on when we’re alr...

CTFC v Northampton Ratings
Evans - 9: immaculate. Scott who? Raglan - 8: scored and was defensively sound. Tozer - 7: did okay. Mopped up every loose ball in our half. Boyle - 6: not his best game, but played his part. Long - 6: some good work in defence. Less effective going forward. Doyle-Hayes - 7: class at this level. Pi...

Re: Newport County AFC v Cheltenham Town
We’re safe. Just waiting for the season to end. Nowhere near safe. If it’s mathematical possible to go down and the players’ believe they’re safe thats when the team stumbles and get destroyed. There are 5 teams and 13 points between us and the drop. This is an absolute knee jerk off a comment Sent...

Personally I thought Tilson looked very good last night. He clearly knows his limitations when it comes to technical ability and so keeps it simple which actually turned out to be very effective in my opinion

Mullins was the best player by far at the start of the season but hasn’t really had a look in since Duff came in. Personality clash maybe?

Re: if all fit and available
I’d play Waters/Addai alongside Barnett/Varney. Playing both Barnett and Varney lacks a bit of mobility IMO but each of them would definitely benefit from having a player with an engine and pace alongside them.

Cheltenham Town v Morecambe
That was very poor indeed and also tonight was a new low, getting a point at home to that heap of shite who if they were better going forward would have killed us off on the break in the second half. I thought Clements was decent but had nobody to pass to half the time, Barnett should not have take...

Scored 4 for Ross county at the weekend against Raith Rovers. Did we ever really see his potential? Or is Scottish football just a very low standard? Thoughts?

Re: Cotterill bookies favourite
While walking the dogs this morning gave this all some more thought. If the next manager had been grounded in L2 made his way up as a player to the highesst standard and been retained by a premiership team as part of their coaching staff. I would probably be happy to get him onbaord with fresh idea...

Re: Cotterill bookies favourite
Sadly, Regency is quite correct. Some-one whose reputation is already established at the higher reaches of our league or, indeed, the one above would not have the tools here at present to achieve anything positive at all in the short to medium term. Therefore a candidate like Gill or Nicholson with...

Re: Objective view
I’d argue that although we are not massively better off in terms of position or points, this season has been hindered by injuries to key players such as Forster and Cranston, I was at the game that Forster got injured in and I would strongly argue that if our defence had him in then we would not hav...

Re: Objective view
We have nothing to play for at this point in the season, we aren’t going to get relegated nor are we going to climb the table whereas Coventry are battling for a play off space and for momentum going into the play offs. You see it all the time across all divisions of football. I personally didn’t he...

Puzzling that Mo hadn’t made it into the TOTY considering his player of the year nomination. Also Danny Hylton making the team when he is 6th top scorer and hasn’t made many assists?
