Re: Open comment to the board
We have to keep Darrell. He is the reason we got to the last game still with a chance of staying up. Yes we need to give him what he believes we need to do it. Will the board do it? Not convinced that they will . We need to back Darrell The fans have backed DC that has been evident since he arrived...

For around 45 minutes we were out of the bottom 4 never thought I'd see that after 11 games. Not a good game to watch but not in the entertainment business at present, a good point, well done lads

Re: Robins' amazing improvement
As a few have said, DC hasn't achieved our survival, and I agree, but what he has achieved is giving us hope of survival. He must be a great motivator, has an eye for a player. Under WE id given up, and was attending games that I didnt really want to be at, but DC has got me really looking fwd to at...

Prize money
Since the formation of the 500 Club, we have handed out just over £500,000 in prize money.
Slowly but surely we are beginning to increase the membership up since we lost around a 100 members during Covid. Still spaces available all for a fiver a month.

Boy is this man getting respect from so many Cheltenham Fans, the saying you can't polish turds has been kicked out of the window, because he can. The transformation is unbelievable. Re: The Famous Five
I have no doubt in believing that DC was the main catalyst for the Taylor signing. I know some people really don't want to criticise him, but this signing is 100% down to him. To be honest Si I havnt a clue how football operates nowadays in dealings of signings. Just find it a strange signing. He w...

The Famous Five
According to the Enid Blyton book of football striker stats Enid informs me that our famous five in their respective leagues this season have Started a total of 59 league games and have mustered the total of 7 league goals between them, not the best read when we're sat in the bottom 4 To think Sercs...

Re: Derby County v Cheltenham Town
They've had three chances yesterday and scored two of them. We had five and scored one of them. Football is a cruel game but the Forwards weren't clinical. The things I'd do for a Number 9 like Collins, he took that superbly. Their free-kick was an absolute gift mind, the wall has completely failed...

Re: Steve Cotterill is the new...
What I find strange is a few Cheltenham fans saying this will tarnish his legacy. When he was your manager several of your fans used to come and support us occasionally. It's hardly crossing the Old Firm divide, is it. I would go every game if we wernt playing, as did a lot of our fans. FGR were a ...

Re: Bolton Wanderers v Cheltenham Town
I got the impression that Ben Speedie (referee) made the final decision on Lloyd perfect goal. Keep a eye on the referee in the future because that isn’t the last we will see of him. In fairness to the ref, he had to go by the linesmans decision, the ref gave the goal, then changed his decision on ...

Re: Match off tomorrow
When we played Newcastle in the FA Cup in January 2006 we were in the middle of a cold spell. If I recall correctly the BBC wanted to make sure the game was on and it was a noon kick off on the Saturday and an upset was on the cards and Souness was about to get the boot. So the BBC paid for extra f...

Re: Match off tomorrow
Pathetic. We are L1 not Sunday league I think we need new frost covers if they can’t handle a couple of over night frosts :( The frost sheets we have will operate to a temperature of minus 5 once it goes any lower the frost has set into the ground. When the 500 club bought them they were top of the...

Re: Done deal
Well Oxford, Charlton, and 2 other clubs seem to understand it, thats why Oxford have met a good valuation. Of course he's not the sole reason that we have a chance of staying up but in my eyes he's the most improved player under DC. Until his arrival I wouldn't of given you £4 yet alone 400k for hi...

Re: Done deal
Don't think many if any are saying its bad business turning a 20k investment into a 300k profit its excellent. To me its the timing of it. From what I've read and heard DC wasn't expecting this at all. If he fails to replace Goodwin, our chances of escaping the drop have virtually disappeared, I'm n...

Re: Done deal
Gutted for clarke But financially that is a great success for the club. Making 380 grand profit on a player in a year Stoke will get at least 25% of that. I think letting him go is bonkers. He won everything in the air, improved greatly and probably in the top three Cheltenham players of the season...
