it amazes me that some cars are parked halfway on the pavement on the roads around the ground on matchday. Agreed! That's a particular bug-bear of mine as I walk up from wherever I've parked that day - usually Cleeve View Road or further down WR towards Priors Road - only to find cars happily pulli...

I wasn't there but, apparently, it was mentioned at the forum that we made a profit on each of the matches in this competition.

Lewis Freestone netted the first for Stevenage, last night, I notice.

It's very, very, hard and I know I couldn't do it, therefore I wouldn't criticise anyone who does put their head above the parapet. Perhaps there could be a special prize for anyone who moans about the commentary to have a go, themselves...?

Wasn't it Alec Stewart who, as England's cricket captain, managed to lose ten tosses in a row? He got so fed up with it, he ended up sending, I think, Graham Thorpe out to do it, instead!

A Facebook comment mentioned they were also impressed by Flynn and that he was much more engaged than the clearly-disinterested DC at the last forum.

I've contacted Shade for clarification - if my understanding of the rules is incorrect, I'll amend before kick-off.

I'm sure PB said many years ago that they looked into purchasing the freehold from the Council but it either wasn't cost-effective or the Council turned them down, flat. Maybe things have changed since then - but it was certainly on their wish-list in the past.

The Board deserve some credit for that sale, I think...
