it amazes me that some cars are parked halfway on the pavement on the roads around the ground on matchday. Agreed! That's a particular bug-bear of mine as I walk up from wherever I've parked that day - usually Cleeve View Road or further down WR towards Priors Road - only to find cars happily pulli...

I'm sure PB said many years ago that they looked into purchasing the freehold from the Council but it either wasn't cost-effective or the Council turned them down, flat. Maybe things have changed since then - but it was certainly on their wish-list in the past.
