The club's been rudderless since he left and that can't be denied.
I don't think we need a CEO - it seems that between him and PG, that's exactly what we had.

Re: Rumour season opens
Whilst I'm not convinced on Moore coming back, I am open to an experienced DOF coming in. I don't think Russ fits that mould. DC has worked with DOF's at Bristol Rovers and Vale, so he'd no doubt be receptive to it. If it's Moore, then so be it. He was a success here last time (probably not as much ...

I'm quite sure Wardy has retired hasn't he?
JP often does puff pieces with ex-players and managers, I suspect it really is just that.

Re: Rumour season opens
The Moore rumour is strange and seems to have come from nowhere.
I'm open to it. I may not be a huge fan of his ego, but you can't argue with his results. Much like some players and managers just suit certain clubs, perhaps the same can be said of DOFs.

I completely agree.
I liked Wade, but listening to his interviews was painful. Reading them was much easier.

Re: Darrell Clarke after Stevenage defeat
Are you sure you know who you're talking to in that post? I've not seen a single post from asl bashing the board. Wade was not a poor appointment. His first year proves that. DC has even said that Wade's hands were completely tied in the summer. Imagine turning up to work as a football manager and h...

Second highest ever finish and a penalty away from Wembley.
With disasters like that, who needs success.

Re: Stevenage v Cheltenham Town
Yes, I noticed a few Stevenage players turn to acknowledge us at the end. Unlike the bellend Sweeney shushing us when they scored the penalty. I have no issue with players giving it back to fans who have been getting on their back, but there was none of that yesterday. Sent from my iPhone using Tap...

Re: Farewells
Highly probable Pett, Sloggett These two are real unknowns, I’d say. Pett came here for Darrell. Whether Darrell stays or not will surely be the key factor. Sloggett has looked promising and one of the reasons he’s here is because his girlfriend plays for Bristol City and the location suits him. I’...

Re: Open comment to the board
I’m writing this on the night of 27 April, the day relegation was confirmed. Sorrows drowned etc etc In all honesty the fact that the inevitable (so it seemed in October) went to the last weekend was, with due respect to the players, down to one man: Darryl Clarke. You, the board, (note the lack of...

Just home, almost exactly 2 hours from the car park. Gutted - especially given the Burton result. A few observations: 1. I think that's twice now Thomas has been booked for 'simulation' since joining us? From what I saw, both were deserved. He needs to cut that out of his game and do the things he'...

Probably FGR, other than that it’s probably a decade ago. Don’t think we even took 1000 to the Torquay or Northampton play offs We've never officially taken 1,000 to FGR I believe. We took 3,000 to Notts County in 2003 (stat courtesy of JP). According to the report on the official website we took 1...

In terms of fanzines, I guess the various podcasts and, I'm sure blogs and vlogs are probably the equivalent. I am hoping and expecting us to produce the goods tonight, no idea why, but I refuse to believe that after the season we have gone through it will all be for nothing. As far as the board is concerned, on reflection, my take is that once DB got the awkward question from Mark H, he didn't articulate ...
