Isn't Paul Bence the vice-chair and commercial director? So only he has gone.

Re: Stevenage v Cheltenham Town
Just home, almost exactly 2 hours from the car park. Gutted - especially given the Burton result. A few observations: 1. I think that's twice now Thomas has been booked for 'simulation' since joining us? From what I saw, both were deserved. He needs to cut that out of his game and do the things he'...

I used to do that all the time. Then I stopped going to away days and it felt like it would be wrong to do it this season.
I may do it tomorrow.

Re: See you at Stevenage!
Interesting early Stevenage team news from SportsMole.co.uk:- "The hosts have a lengthy list of absentees going into this match with the potential of up to eight players being absent due to injury and suspension. Dan Butler served the first of a three-game ban against Oxford United after being...

Re: See you at Stevenage!
Probably FGR, other than that it’s probably a decade ago. Don’t think we even took 1000 to the Torquay or Northampton play offs We've never officially taken 1,000 to FGR I believe. We took 3,000 to Notts County in 2003 (stat courtesy of JP). According to the report on the official website we took 1...

Re: No programmes anymore
In terms of fanzines, I guess the various podcasts and, I'm sure blogs and vlogs are probably the equivalent. Probably my very individual idiosyncrasy, but I have never got on board with these, much prefer the 'printed' word I was always anti-Kindle because I liked having the book. Then anti-Audibl...

Re: The board could help
What a strange post. Someone doesn't agree with your idea so you attack them completely. I agree with Shade and Oldun, the board shouldn't pay for fans to go on Saturday. We're supporters - the clue is in the name. If you can afford to go and have the time, then get there. If you can't, then no judg...

Re: tonight
I am hoping and expecting us to produce the goods tonight, no idea why, but I refuse to believe that after the season we have gone through it will all be for nothing. As far as the board is concerned, on reflection, my take is that once DB got the awkward question from Mark H, he didn't articulate ...

Re: Murray toms
Murry seems to have a love/hate relationship with the board. It's not the first time he's been on the board and left. I don't doubt he probably feels a bit toothless at trying to get things he's suggested through - but I also believe that it's more down to a change in his personal work circumstances...

Re: COE and or DOF
It wasn't month to month, it was a general working contract.
In my job I can leave at any time as long as I work my notice period - thats the contract Mickey Moore was on. He ended up serving his one month notice before going to Shrewsbury.

Re: COE and or DOF
I don't think the issue was Mickey Moore going himself, so much as having no plan for when he did leave. At best, this was naive on the Board's part. At worst, reckless. We'd already had to increase his wage earlier in the season to keep him from going to Forest Green, so it was clear to a blind man...

Re: tinker man and next season
Have you listened to the Trust podcast with Paul Baker? He explains in some detail why a CEO isn't necessarily needed at Cheltenham. Clarifies that we did in fact have one at one time and it simply didn't work. That's not to say it won't work now, I just don't think it's necessarily the golden ticke...

Re: tinker man and next season
This is precisely what I mean. All season on social media we've seen "Sack the board", "Get Bloxham out", etc, etc... But none of these people have the slightest clue about what would happen if the board resigned en masse. The anti-Bloxham stuff is boring as well. As I said on an...

You keep banging on about it, but pray tell who takes over as leaders of the club.

Re: tinker man and next season
DC would have known when he joined that there was a good chance we would be relegated. I’m not sure we can read too much into speculation at this point. He has done an excellent job whatever happens this week and I really hope he stays. I agree. I think people are reading far too much in to Thursda...

Re: Open Letter to the Board
What's incredible is how everyone flip flops from one extreme to the other at the drop of a hat. It's been run the same way for decades, as Paul Baker said on the Trust podcast - no outright owner, no one who can determine the fate of the club on their own, etc... In that time we've seen more succes...

Re: tinker man and next season
Given he's under contract then as long as we're suitably compensated then so be it.
I don't want to lose DC, of course not. But much like he says about any players - if they don't want to be here then I don't want them here.

Re: Open Letter to the Board
I don't understand why Bloxham is getting so much heat. He was poor on Thursday, no doubt about that, but he isn't a dictator and all decisions by the board are done on votes. Why is it suddenly Bloxham that's suddenly the bad guy and not, say, Murry Toms or Clive Gowing, or David Beesley, or Paul B...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Lincoln City
I hope there's a special level of hell reserved for tossers who taunt the crowd of a club going down when they score, when they've basically had no stick from said crowd. What a anker. I wondered what that was about, too. I didn't hear him get any abuse from the home crowd in that particular stand,...
