Re: Parklands - more trouble afoot?
Honestly feel the club should be looking to acquire the Parklands land from the council. We can then use it for additional car parking, utilise the social club as a lettor and we can then use some of the space to eventually rebuild the home end. I believe the council, club & parklands should co...

Re: Seasons family day
I get the social aspect of paint & clean days, but personally I don’t see why a club which charges a lot of money for tickets should rely on volunteers to do something the club should be funding. To be fair, they don’t! I just find it odd that they don’t tap into the small pool of fans that are...

Re: Seasons family day
We are supposed to be a family friendly club and yet we have no recent open days and no close season days of fans helping paint & clean the ground? Two of the best forms of fan/community engagement that clubs can do IMO. I used to enjoy helping paint & clean, it was good to meet fellow fans ...

Re: Main Stand question
I wonder how the following would stack up financially. Renovating the the Main Stand to have fewer seats with fewer more spread out rows, and fewer wider seats within in each row. Making the seats much plushier than the Colin Farmer. Maybe with padding or similar like Arsenal and some of the seats ...

I’ll be surprised if Duff is still at Barnsley next season. I can see a couple of championship clubs circling including Swansea.
If he stays though then absolutely I can see them going up automatically

Josh Payne? He made his Premier League debut 6 months after making his debut for us. Cheers Si, I did mean Josh :D Who was that other young Hammer we had on loan under Gary Johnson? Re: Attendances
We won't break the 5000 average until the new stand is built then I genuinely see us averaging similar gates to Wycombe. We desperately need to add more seats somehow. A bit controversial, and it would reduce overall capacity, but they could redevelop the paddock and terrace standing areas in front...

Re: Robins Report Podcast
As our catering outsourcing seems to be so bad season upon season why don’t they split the outlets and offer certain outlets to independent caterers on a contract basis? You could offer both outlets in the CF for x amount per season, then the PRE outlets for ‘y’ and the away and canteen terrace for ...

Disappointing but not surprising. As fuller says we’ll still have the same looking ground in many years to come albeit older and more tired. I fully appreciate we haven’t got millions to spend on new stands but standing still and doing nothing to the current ones seems daft. Why not look at fresheni...

Re: Where are they
This posting has morphed into Catering Chaos and that's not a bad thing as it's a real issue and is symptomatic and emblamatic of "Little Cheltenham". It's off the pitch we need to get a grip of and stop running the club like we're still in the Beazer Homes League! A giant and, indeed, ef...

Re: Murry on the Board
The trouble is, unless you are a die hard Cheltenham fan, then L1 doesn’t represent great value for money when Championship or Premier League football isn’t that much more and the facilities are much better. Attracting floating fans is the conundrum the club face. A better PRE and some improvements ...

Re: Whaddon Road
I reckon this season, adding up all the home attendances it will be a record breaking season. For the future we need to increase the capacity to 10/12 thousand. Not too sure that's feasible given the limited space on the site. Assuming the new stand is 4000 capacity that would take us up to 9000 wh...

Re: Professionalising 'little old Cheltenham'
I was a little disappointed when Bloxham dismissed the CEO idea. His uncertainty about why we would want one is perhaps valid if we are thinking of a CEO in the same way BP do, but obviously we wouldn’t be. I think a hands-on CEO like small consultancy or agency has would work. Someone to be the fa...

Re: Portsmouth v Cheltenham Town
If we were to be relegated, does anyone see Wade having us vying for a quick return back to L1? I don’t see it personally which is why I’d be happy to change the management team. We will always struggle at this level with the club set up as it is (not enough money) but money doesn’t buy hard work, c...

Re: Robins Report Podcast
The key is to improve the PRE by raising the roof and increasing the gradient of the terrace so a better view can be enjoyed. If we had a better home end in terms of acoustics and view then the guys from block 1 might be encouraged to stand in there. Not sure what ideas the club has in mind for it a...

Why not put a temporary seating stand inbetween the main stand and the hazelwoods? Where the canteen and police tower is. Similar to the one at Bristol rovers With companies like Stadium solutions they could add some raised ‘bolt on’ seating areas either side of the main stand. They built that rais...

Re: The type of stand we need
We’ll never see a new main stand, the cost is too great and I think there’s too much competition around the town for corporate hospitality. Improving the PRE and smartening up/expanding the current main stand in conjunction with the training ground improvements will probably be the limits of what we...

I thought the club were looking more towards adding on to the main stand more than a complete rebuild now (although I could be wrong)
To be fair, in terms of location, the training ground probably offers a better opportunity to develop facilities for conference and hospitality

Happy with this appointment.
Usually when we part company with a manager it’s because we are struggling so for a new boss to come in and rip everything up to start again is no bad thing.
As we’ve been doing well hopefully Wade will continue where Duff left.
