Re: David Bloxham on Adam Murray exit

I find it bizarre that JP presumably offers the chairman an opportunity to clear the situation up rather than add his input to the official site press release. Sad to see Adam go but we must move on. It seems hes gone with very little regard for the club and no doubt his appointment will end in tear...

Re: Loans

I think Russ is a nice guy but cant help but think its a wage we could save on to invest in the playing budget. For me the manager must sign what players he wants not what a head of recruitment wants. I appreciate someone has to do the leg work once a player is identified but it seems a waste of res...

He's entitled to his opinion, it doesn't mean people have to agree with it. He maintains the same opinion on our podcast WhatsApp chat as well, the rest of us disagree. Football is about opinions. A lot of people would have seen Williams being second to the header and believe it warrants a yellow c...

Halliwell repeated himself around 800 times that both tackles warrantied a yellow.

No doubt the sending off cost us the game in the end. The table was looking so good when we were 1-0 up

Re: Blackpool

Seems they have abused the emergency loan system and been found out. I am sure this will apply to the league as well.

As mentioned above FGR is a play tool for Vince and simply a vehicle for him to spread his messages. I don't believe he has any interest in the football side of the club

Great win Saturday. Amazing how Darrell has managed to get a tune out of the players. I love his no nonsense approach. I should imagine the training ground/ sessions and expectations is a stark contrast to life under Wade in terms of work rate, discipline etc. One thing I didn't like in the highligh...

I thought the debate was a bit daft but I see Si's point. The club set the min price and there was only one bid of this price so they could of cost themselves money. Who knows? Should of started at a higher price or just stated open to offers.

Re: Will It Be On-Par With The 1998/1999 Promotion.

If we are a league one side next season, then would this season be on-par with Steve Cotterill's 98/99 team that got promoted to the football league? Will Darrell Clarke's name become eternalized in the footballing sacred halls and minds of the Whaddon Road faithful. Three points on Saturday would ...

 less than five minutes in and Pete Matthews has already basically told Halliwell to stop reading out other scores. But he's still f#!$ banging on about other bloody games. Halliwell must spend 50% of the game commentating on things utterly irrelevant to what he should be commentating on.

I hope the loans are all super cheap, otherwise I don't know how we're paying them all. I think too many of the loans were panic signings. Throw enough mud against the wall and hope some of it sticks. If the choice is between Lloyd and the two loanees, I’d go with Lloyd as it serves our best interests to find out if he’s good enough; it’s not as if the other two will be with us next s...
