Re: DC First interview
Why didn’t the club ask for supporters/volunteers to paint Seasons in the close season? Or did the Trust offer even? I spent time with a few mates in the ‘70s painting the changing rooms at WR and when we got into the Conference in 1985 a few of us helped refurbish the stands. Never see any request...

Re: New manager
Would of been my 2nd choice so happy with his appointment. What we must do is give him a chance even if that means next season in Div 2. If he keeps us up he wont be here long, but hes a lot of turds to polish I believe.

Totally agree Si, who ever it is we must support them, theyve already got a difficult job on their hands with this squad and not getting our backing wether we like the appointment or not will be disastrous.

Cant predict our points tally, but with poor strikers, and a non creative midfield unit, Im struggling to see how we can avoid the drop. Who ever takes the job hes got a massive task infront of him, and to keep us up will be a monumental achievement. Who ever it will be I will be there supporting hi...

Re: NEXT MANAGER SHORTLIST
SC would be my choice but i can't see him coming back "You haven't spoken to him, you don't know that." What happened to 1985CTFC, anyway...? His head exploded trying to grasp the concept of a mission statement. Shame as it means I won’t be getting my £100 for Keena being L1 top scorer co...

Re: NEXT MANAGER SHORTLIST
Cripes, nobody has mentioned Jerry Gill yet. 😀 The good thing about this is we're nailed on to score against Stevenage and win 3-1. We all know Jerry is a future CTFC manager, so no need to mention every time. I’d wait a couple of years until the next appointment has us floundering in 15th in L2 th...

Re: what differnce will it make ?
We will hopefully have just one coach/manager shouting advice from the technical area instead of 3 which has been usual this season and must have been confusing for the players. Yes. In particular, James Bittner might STFU. He's the goalkeeping coach (I've just bothered looking him up!) and he's ha...

All those loans to me says how poor some of our contracted players are. Weve lost 3 crucial players from last season in May, Taylor, and Jackson and havnt replaced them, they were pivotal to last seasons survival and held the squad together. Now theyve gone were exposed to how average those players ...

I really dont know Horteng. The sale of Alfie May is a transfer that hasnt been replaced purely as it is a near impossible task for a club such as us to acheive These young loanees could be of a good quality, time will tell, I suppose its the number of them which could be of a concern. It was my main gripe last season. Our midfield unit lacked quality, and you only have to look at their contribution to goals and assists to show that, and unfortunately, some of them are still here. The effort is there cant fault that, but quality is lacking

I find that statement bizzare Broom is missed more than May, 5 games no goals, and very few shots at goal. I totally understand what you mean regarding Broom, but youd rather Broom in this current squad than May ?
