Another defender. Hopefully he will replace Grimes but who will sit in the stand when Moore is back? Bower goes down the pecking order. I thought with Forster and Cranston coming back we would be full of defenders. Perhaps Boyle or Grimes are going elsewhere. It'd almost certainly have to be Manny ...

Unless performances (i.e. results) start improving soon, then it'll be difficult to plan for next season, since we won't know which division we'll be in.

Johnson tried a similar line-up against Yeovil on Boxing Day. Pell playing behind lone striker Eisa ... and it didn't work! We lost 0-2! I really can't understand picking a team with one recognised striker (and one that will never be able to win headers or hold the ball up) at home against a team be...

It's a bit inconsistent, since Dawson's shot was on target. Had it hit a defender instead of Eisa, Dawson would have been credited with it.

Cranston could have been motm if he hadn't messed up in the first half by switching off when one of theirs was chasing a ball over the top, then switching on to get to the ball first, only to try and shield a barely moving ball out of play, getting robbed and then bringing the guy down, aka 'doing a...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Peterborough United
I'll guess we will take Mustoe, Vyner from Bristol City (as he can also play centre back) then hopefully we can find an experienced target man at a league one club that has fallen down the pecking order and will be allowed out on loan. If we can I would still take another striker/winger on loan too...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Peterborough United
Having watched both the Bristol City & Peterborough psf's, I'd make the following observations: 1. We played quite well in both 1st halves, but fell apart in the second, so need to be more resilient in adversity. Against BC we were undone by some slick passing after the initial error from Flatt,...

Dire result today but we are chopping and changing the team left right and centre to get them minutes on the pitch. If we played our first eleven no doubt we would spank Bath and Weston . I'd hope so, but we should be able to beat teams 2 divisions below us, whatever team we put out. If not, then t...

Corners as well given the amount of height we have on the pitch including 3 CB's we should be scoring more from set pieces and it becomes even more important when playing on a poor pitch as goals from open play will become harder to score. What a baboon. Which match was he watching?! Mansfield were toothless and created nothing in spite of their numerical advantage. But what do you expect, the guy is pure poison and a total oaf. His histrionics unsurprisingly helped get Stoz dismissed. It's how he's built his "career". Abou...

Has it occurred to anyone that there might be a good reason for Barthram's omission? Perhaps he is not fit enough to play the full 90 minutes. It would be a good question for the press to ask. He may not last 90 mins, but that's probably because he gives his all and runs out of steam. I'd rather th...

Agree with much of the above. I also don't see what Pell does most of the game. Mostly just tracks opposition players around the pitch but rarely puts in a tackle - and often gets booked when he does! For me, the whole midfield needs to toughen up and get stuck into some tackles. Opposition sides ar...

Jack Munns must be wondering what he has to do to get in the team. Can't believe that he was left on the bench again, especially after Tuesdays debacle. I think the main problem is that we don't have a midfield play-maker. None of our current midfield seem happy to hold the ball and dictate play. Whitehead is the nearest we've got but currently not first choice, although we do seem to do better when Munns plays, as he adds some creativity. As for th...
