Re: Wigan Athletic v Cheltenham Town
That’s the sort of game that, pre DC, we would have taken the lead, lost the lead and gone on to lose the game. It wasn’t a classic performance from either side but we battled away and held on to a valuable point. Neither keeper had a lot to do which sums up the performance from both sides. We are u...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Port Vale
One of our best performances. To go behind twice and having the confidence to fight back and win is just excellent. We have a top man in charge now. Well done Darrell and the lads.

Re: Cambridge United v Cheltenham Town
We’ve reached the part of the game now where Cambridge players are dropping to the floor every time someone breathes on them, and the Ref buys into it!

Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers
We seemed so frenetic yesterday. Wycombe saw out our good 15/20mins . They played a more measured football, although they had some desperate defending at time. Was a bit like Orient. Wellens knew we would bombard them and they sat tight . Then struck. We have to remember teams have now been watchin...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers
At last. Somebody out there who can score goals. Why wasn’t he starting?
………..and whilst we’re ranting, that was never a penalty. Their player cut back and just dropped to the floor and the ref fell for it. Why didn’t the Lino see it?

Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers
This is bloody embarrassing! We’re just handing them the game.
We don’t have anyone who looks capable of putting away chances and half chances on a regular basis since Alfie May left. Let’s hope these new signings can put this to rights.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers
Davies...he's got to score there Terrible. My cat could have put that away. We HAVE to put simple chances like that in the net, it was a tap in. And then what happens. They get a corner and bundle it in. Our end to end football is as good as it’s been this season but our finishing and defending lea...

Re: Derby County v Cheltenham Town
Although I don’t think the free kick given for their equaliser was justified, the way our defensive wall disintegrated as the ball was on its way to the goal didn’t help our cause.

Re: Bolton Wanderers v Cheltenham Town
From the comments on here it would seem that there are huge doubts about the decision and not for the first time this season! For those who haven't seen it, this is a screen grab from the moment Sercombe struck the free kick. https://i.ibb.co/cTNtLM2/Screenshot-2024-01-24-at-15-07-15.png From right...

Re: Bolton Wanderers v Cheltenham Town
Not for the first time recently, I'm ending a game by saying ROBBERY Finding this commentator on Radio Glos unnecessarily dramatic and pretty bloody irritating tbh! Sounds like Halliwell is equally unimpressed. He kept talking over M.H. Surely, especially when cancelling out goals is involved...

Thought we were in with a decent chance of something until the penalty incident. In fact, thought it was a reasonably even first half although we are lacking a decent consistent striker.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Shrewsbury Town
What a difference thanks to the new Management. The fitness levels are far better than they were under the previous regime and it’s paying dividends. The players are far more confident and far more aggressive. We’re taking on the opposition now and giving them something to think about rather than tw...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Leyton Orient
Neither of those were yellows and the ref is as gullible as they come to fall for their player throwing himself down a minute after they got him booked. #$£!. You’re dead right. I have played both of those challenges over and over and I think it was a very dodgy red card.. The head incident doesn’t...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Leyton Orient
That first yellow seems very polarizing - Radio Glos, both commentators, with their view on the other side of the field called it ‘very very strong’ and thought it could have been red, the ifollow video (from the reverse angle) to me looks like he’s gone in hard for a 50-50 header and gotten there ...

Re: Charlton Athletic v Cheltenham Town
Just looked at the handball, how the hell is that deliberate, tell me we would get that decision - NO CHANCE. I feel like it was a pen but it was soft. Re: Charlton Athletic v Cheltenham Town
Football officialdom is going insane. Surely a penalty for hand ball should only be given when hands are deliberately used to prevent a scoring opportunity, not when a defender is skidding along on his arse with the obvious intention of blocking a pass with his leg and the ball is driven onto his ar...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Oxford United
If we’d sat back and let Oxford come at us and build their confidence it could have been a different outcome. You don’t get to second in the league by being a poor side. Our ‘attack and press’ tactics from the start put them in a situation that they struggled to cope with. It will hopefully now give...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Oxford United
Wonderful performance. The fitness levels have improved enormously under Darrell. The other thing is that there is none of this tip tapping the ball around until we lose it in our own half. We are taking the game to the opposition and our fitness levels are enabling us to press for 90+ minutes. Well...

This was a ‘free game’ in that we had nothing to gain or lose from the result but it was a perfect opportunity for DC to assess any players he may have been unsure about.

Two ‘a la Alfie May’ goals for us so far. In other words get in the box and take a chance rather than trying to walk it into the net…….and another one off the bar, could have been three.

And there's the second c!#p decision, pulling us back, penalising us, for taking a quick free kick when he wasn't going to talk to the Vale player. Re: Blackpool v Cheltenham Town
Two very poor goals given away but I’m not entirely convinced about the referees idea of a foul. Their players are dropping onto the floor like dead flies and getting free kicks.
