Re: Wigan Athletic v Cheltenham Town

That’s the sort of game that, pre DC, we would have taken the lead, lost the lead and gone on to lose the game. It wasn’t a classic performance from either side but we battled away and held on to a valuable point. Neither keeper had a lot to do which sums up the performance from both sides. We are u...

We’ve reached the part of the game now where Cambridge players are dropping to the floor every time someone breathes on them, and the Ref buys into it!

Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers

We seemed so frenetic yesterday. Wycombe saw out our good 15/20mins . They played a more measured football, although they had some desperate defending at time. Was a bit like Orient. Wellens knew we would bombard them and they sat tight . Then struck. We have to remember teams have now been watchin...

………..and whilst we’re ranting, that was never a penalty. Their player cut back and just dropped to the floor and the ref fell for it. Why didn’t the Lino see it?

Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers

This is bloody embarrassing! We’re just handing them the game.
We don’t have anyone who looks capable of putting away chances and half chances on a regular basis since Alfie May left. Let’s hope these new signings can put this to rights.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers

Davies...he's got to score there Terrible. My cat could have put that away. We HAVE to put simple chances like that in the net, it was a tap in. And then what happens. They get a corner and bundle it in. Our end to end football is as good as it’s been this season but our finishing and defending lea...

Re: Derby County v Cheltenham Town

Although I don’t think the free kick given for their equaliser was justified, the way our defensive wall disintegrated as the ball was on its way to the goal didn’t help our cause.

From the comments on here it would seem that there are huge doubts about the decision and not for the first time this season! For those who haven't seen it, this is a screen grab from the moment Sercombe struck the free kick. https://i.ibb.co/cTNtLM2/Screenshot-2024-01-24-at-15-07-15.png From right...

Not for the first time recently, I'm ending a game by saying ROBBERY Finding this commentator on Radio Glos unnecessarily dramatic and pretty bloody irritating tbh! Thought we were in with a decent chance of something until the penalty incident. In fact, thought it was a reasonably even first half although we are lacking a decent consistent striker.

Neither of those were yellows and the ref is as gullible as they come to fall for their player throwing himself down a minute after they got him booked. #$£!. You’re dead right. I have played both of those challenges over and over and I think it was a very dodgy red card.. The head incident doesn’t...

That first yellow seems very polarizing - Radio Glos, both commentators, with their view on the other side of the field called it ‘very very strong’ and thought it could have been red, the ifollow video (from the reverse angle) to me looks like he’s gone in hard for a 50-50 header and gotten there ...

If we’d sat back and let Oxford come at us and build their confidence it could have been a different outcome. You don’t get to second in the league by being a poor side. Our ‘attack and press’ tactics from the start put them in a situation that they struggled to cope with. It will hopefully now give...

Two very poor goals given away but I’m not entirely convinced about the referees idea of a foul. Their players are dropping onto the floor like dead flies and getting free kicks.
