Re: Stalinist scenes at Forest Green
ha ha legal action for what??? internet crusaders are hilarious Presuming you're on about legal action for possible defamation, you clearly don't realise how hard and costly it is to prove. It's why newspapers get dozens of calls every day with the same 'I'm gonna sue you for every penny you've got...

Re: Stalinist scenes at Forest Green
Thanks for the advice and the support. I don't know how much of this is the hierarchy's view or how much of this comes from the hierarchy not really having much understanding of what's going on at FGR on a match day.

Re: Stalinist scenes at Forest Green
I invite everyone to read the FGR statement about what occurred! I would be upset if it wasn't so funny. One, I apparently only had a photograph of my e-ticket. Total nonsense. The stewards were shown the original. Two, I apparently threw a punch at a steward but missed. I would love to see the CCTV...

KG you'll be more than welcome at WR, treated like a 'proper' football fan by a 'proper' football club. Thank you and others for your kind words and offers. I don't see myself watching any other club on a regular basis simply because FGR is in my blood. I had a relative who played for the club in t...

I like coops. If it wasn’t for him, with their huge wage bill, they’d be top of the league by miles. Also, hilariously, despite them buying there way up the league, their own fan base hate him. A lot of them are rightly very skeptical of Vince and the inevitable train wreck that is coming, but coop...

To top it off, Morecambe 2 up v FGR. 45 mins from only being 9 points behind them  Yes indeed, it put the cream on top of a great day after hearing The Old TomCat’s heroes have started to come apart, just as we predicted would happen. Cooperman refused to do the Press Call after FGR’s More...

Ben, both clubs attract an element that come out for the big games to cause hassle. I was challenged by kids walking into the town centre, demanding if I was FGR or Cheltenham. They told me they'd 'punch your f'ing face' if I was FGR. What am I? Just a guy without team colours passing by at midday. ...

Re: Common Decency 2-2 Arrogance
Listening to Cooper on the radio post-match, banging on about his own players making mistakes and it's their faults that they didn't win, not his, and saying we won't get a bigger gift all season - so, so sour and arrogant. He seemed to forget that both of their goals also came from awful errors fr...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Forest Green Rovers
We had a chance in the first half I still don't know how it didn't go in. Ended up a corner so I assume someone threw themselves in front of it. Looked for all the world like we'd scored. Not debating FGR were the better team overall but I don't think it was quite as one-sided as some think it was....

Re: Cheltenham Town v Forest Green Rovers
A more rational view now - FGR vastly better side in first half. Should’ve been 2-0 up. Second half we played better, two mistakes led to their two goals. And then they just combusted, I was shocked that we got back in to it. Motm was flinders, nige played well a couple of mistakes aside A word for...

Glad he's gone. Especially now Clements has shown he's capable of better things. Having seen both at FGR I would take Winchester any day of the week. Wait until his heart isn't as in it. Clements put in a performance on Boxing Day that was calm, composed, feisty where necessary and scored a fantast...

I actually agree with Ben - I have never disliked FGR or their fans who were following them before the sugar daddy came in. What I dislike is the fact that they are now an advertising tool for a megalomaniac. That their new fans are more plastic than MK Dons fans and that somehow this game is becom...

Presumably he's one of the FGR wannabes that ran on the pitch last year after getting beaten up in town. Not sure our club can ban their fans though it must come from them. Far from being a wannabe, he's been watching since he was a kid. Very much an adult now. Never had any hassle with him, count ...

So, basically, manager with the charisma of a rusty paperclip gets pissed off with fans annoyed that he doesn't have a plan B. Couldn't believe it when I heard him say that in the post match interview. Vince was probably in the throng moaning at him. I think he got the job because he is a plank and...

How much of Ecotricity’s dwindling profit is being pumped into Forest Green Rovers? The answer I have heard is “all of it”. There is real competition in the renewable energy sector and customers are being given increasing choice. Ecotricity are expensive and are not getting good customer feedback. ...

Well FGR have closed their office and reception at TNL full-stop! Tickets now ordered via a hotline to Ecotricity offices. The new system makes a lot of good sense.
