Re: Unelected dictatorship to take control of UK.
Several hedge funds and MP's connected to them stand to lose a lot of money if we are still in the EU on Nov 1st; could this explain at least some of the desperation to get out by his date?

I know some very nice ditches I could point him towards. Alex Chalk will surely have to resign as he said a couple of weeks ago his red line would be if the government had broken the law.

I reckon lying to the monarch to encourage her to help you break the law is verging on treason. Can we have him shot.

What was Cummings job before his promotion to the man seemingly running the country? I don't remember hearing his name until Johnson's take over.

Re: Unelected dictatorship to take control of UK.
The ERG group are desperate to get as far away from the forthcoming EU tax rules as they can, as they would have to actually contribute to the public purse. Rees-Mogg's £103m profit from last year would be hit and someone in the know reckons Johnson would be paying £1200 a week. They couldn't give a...

They will, just as they have done from the 43 companies they have asset stripped in the past. How can these vultures get past the EFL's vetting to be allowed to take over clubs they are meant to be protecting from these scum.

Lack of media activity
Are all the media people having a day off. The press conferences obviously happened as there are clips to view but not the whole chats. Also our esteemed media man still hasn't told us there is a new loanee at the club 4 hours after he signed. It's the start of the season, don't they know we want to...

I hope it grows on me as at the moment I'd rate it close to the worst ever. The purple and Inter Milan kits were my favourites.

I wonder if Dillon recommended him, always good to have an international player in the squad even if it's only Antigua. Hope he doesn't get too many call ups, the Carribean teams play a lot of games with concacaf etc.

Re: Striker on way
If MD can motivate him like he did with Barnett, then could be a good signing. I can imagine players not giving their all for a cnut like Cooper. I'm hopeful working with Varney would motivate him to get back to the massive threat he was a few years back. We can but hope.

Re: Tahvon Campbell
Two good signings so far, I reckon we need another 6. 2 defenders as there is no cover for the regular starts at the moment, 3 midfielders with a ball winner a must, and another striker preferably a target man who also has a bit of pace.

Don't understand why Long isn't getting game time; if he's fit as Duff says. He's got to be a better bet than Broom who's been average of late and dire at Newport.

Time for the "men in grey suits" to step in I think. On Question Time last week, Julia Hartley-Brewer, staunch Tory supporter, suggested it's time for the men in white coats to call at number 10. Ms May, judging by her rants of this week, seems to have joined the sufferers of mad cow disea...

Fantastic win by the English girls last night to win their first big trophy. Totally dominant in the first half and after Japan made changes at half time they weathered the storm and defended brilliantly. If Long can get back to full fitness I think he'll be an real asset but totally agree about the others you mentioned. Sending them out on loan helps but I can't see Kiddie paying much of McAlinden's alleged £1,400 a week. The same obviously goes for Smith and Debayo. I imagine Mullins is on good mon...

Can't wait to see him back, Broom is good going forward but weak on the defending side. From what I remember of Long, he'll do a similar job to Hussey but better defensively.
