Re: The rest of the season
There's not much more we can do to stay in League 1. I don't see us signing a free-agent striker, I don't think we have the funds to. It could all be back in our own hands after tomorrow night's games as well, so a bit early to be throwing in the towel. Well if the club isn't allowing Darrell to lo...

Re: Free agents
Absolutely, I mentioned the other day that for the sake of two months wages and a L1 status bonus it's a no brainer. I'd be amazed if we haven't had a few training with us at the very least. It must be soul destroying for the defence and midfield to be working their butts off to have a strike force ...

Re: Information for fans travelling to Oxford on Saturday
I know that most teams have prolonged celebrations when they score, but can it be counter productive as perhaps it was today as it gave Oxford time to gather their thoughts.
Sometimes maybe it's better to get on with it whilst the opposition is still shell shocked.

Re: Oxford United v Cheltenham Town
Given he has barely picked him until there was no other option, I suggest not a lot. why’s he at the club then? We needed a big striker with experience and probably signed the one we able to afford and who was willing to sign. Same we way we end up with most signings. Because Nuttall is a big unit ...

Cool Hand Luke beware
New rules for next season. On Saturday the International Football Association Board (IFAB) met to discuss various law changes. A few months ago a blue card looked like being trialled at professional level but this card will now only be used at grass-roots and youth levels. IFAB, though, has approved...

Re: NO MORE PENNY PINCHING IN L2 NEXT SEASON
Well it's too soon to be so pessimistic although others will say just being realistic. I'd forgotten about the hefty solidarity payments that clubs get which help in the first season after relegation. So if the worst does happen the next season offers the best chance of promotion. Similar to when we...

It would be a dereliction of duty if we're not looking to see if we can sign a short term deal for a striker.
Surely we can tempt someone with 2 months wages plus a League 1 status brucie bonus.

Big match with a big crowd, let's hope that gets the players up for it.
Our players seem able to play better against the bigger teams.
On a side note will the upcoming international break work for us or against us?

Re: Cheltenham Town v Burton Albion
I would start Nuttall and Keena on Tuesday. Think the forwards look completely gassed and need a break. Shake up the midfield too - Pett, Kinsella and Harrop. Would love to have Thomas on from the start but unless we change formation that won't happen. I'm just praying that Rob Street might return ...

Funny who you meet at the barbers!
Going off topic I followed the former Snooker World champion Ray Reardon
into the chair a few weeks ago and he was really chuffed as he'd made a century break at the age of 90 the previous week.
Sorry.

Not saying that we can lose that figure every year but just mentioning that
Barnsley lost 5 MILLION during the same period.
In fairness they had been relegated from The Championship .

Crikey, getting to half time level a relief. Getting outfought particularly in the air for the first time in weeks. Hope Freestone is OK after a couple of hefty hits on the head. Steve, as the subs have stayed at £5 per month since the 500 club's inception would increasing these to maybe £7 pm be something to think about given inflation has diminished the value of the sums raised.
