Re: Wycombe Wanderers v Cheltenham Town

The other side of the good recent form is that teams that were underestimating us are now more likely to… estimate us. I’m sure some of the teams we’ve outfought recently thought they were rolling up to face the 1-goal-and-1-point-in-11-misfits of October, whereas from here on in we’re going to get...

Rare factual error from Mark Halliwell and repeated by Owen. He said we had never won four games in a row in League One. We have: JP Tweeted the other day we won four on the bounce in 2007/2008. Vale can feel a bit hard done by with this game not being played behind closed doors, a contrived pitch invasion that caused the game to be abandoned, the replay should be behind closed doors not a Tuesday night with a reduced away support as a result.

Surely there is no chance Port Vale are paying anyone £7.5k a week that's Championship wages and they are not a club flush with cash and I would think have one of the lower budgets in this league. From comments of fans of team who Darren Moore managed, they will be defensive and probably unadventurous against us. He hasn't got the talent he had at Sheff Wed at this level.
