Council office sale.
With the council planning to sell their office in the centre would it be possible for them to build a new office at whaddon road and incorporate our new stand as part of the development ?

I would think he would want a wage beyond our budget and is getting games while looking for a club.
However ! Jamie Victory played in a pre-season at Cinderford when looking for a club and stayed for a while ?

Re: Main Stand question
If the board are aware of these comments they must seriously do something about the totally "not fit for purpose" main stand if we remain in the EFL 1. Especially as they are losing so much income because of the lack of accommodation in the ground.

Re: Micky Moore speaks of move
None of this quite rings true. Micky Moore excited by the vision and drive of the Board, and yet their manager doesn’t appear to have been aware of the Director of Football position prior to it being advertised. That isn’t going to end well. Presumably Cotterill will be exiting very shortly. Centra...

Lloyd Jones leaving Cambridge Utd. One of Buckle’s loan signings from Liverpool. What happened to Dunn and Stewart? Jack Dunn is currently at Marine FC and Kevin Stewart is at Blackpool, he's had a lot of injury problems. I think at the time many thought Jack Dunn would have gone on to have had the...

Re: Visiting supporter allocation - 23/24
Better solution is to find more seating in my view, even if only a temporary stand in the canteen area which can hold 300 or so then we can keep the entire Hazelwood's for home fans. The area in front of the canteen is an embarrassment and very non league,a cheap improvement giving an amount of ter...

Pfff...a very good player my arse. We did better without him last time and we will do better without him this time. As I said on the other thread, he has never wanted to be here, and he will be found out again wherever he ends up. Been largely c!#p this season and more fool whoever has decided to g...

Re: Approach for Micky Moore
I find it incredible that I'm still seeing people questioning MM's record (mostly on Twitter and FB as per). He's assembled teams that have improved our final league position year-on-year up until this season, including a title-winning team and a team that achieved our highest ever finish. You can ...

Dundee job ?
Speculation that Grant McCann is on Dundee`s short list to replace Gary Bowyer,S.C. would be ideal for them as the football up there is full of passion just like him,he should have got the Hearts job a couple of years back.

Re: Luke Southwood to be released as a free agent in the summer.
I take it back. I was confusing him with Carson. Originally I didn’t make the Phillips comment. Then edited my post to add it in. Signal went (on GWR, Ihearye) and it said the usual ‘server can’t be found’ etc rather than loading page with my new post. At this point I changed my mind and realised t...

Re: Luke Southwood to be released as a free agent in the summer.
There are times when I really can't take RCS seriously. The comment about Phillips is definitely one of those times. If you can show me a single mistake he made in our Conference winning season then I may bend slightly, but I certainly won't break on the fact that I think he's the best keeper we've...

Do the sponsors only ever choose from the goal scorers...? Don't get me wrong, Keena was okay in the first half and he got his goal - but Southwood saved a penalty and made at least four decent saves. Bonds, despite testing the referee's patience, had a good match, too. And Alfie was Alfie, set up ...

Nah, save your money. Just write it into his contract that he has to stand on a plinth outside the ground for a couple of hours before games, so people can have their photos taken in front etc. Then if he transfers elsewhere, you can replace him with someone else. Or sell them the plinth as well. A...

It looks like those sums are for the Jan. window mainly.Jerry St Clair wrote: ↑08 Mar 2023, 10:53 Plymouth are down for having spent £0 and we know, for a start, they signed Callum Wright for an undisclosed fee, almost certainly well into six figures.
So, I'd take all this with a very large pinch of salt.

Re: Wade: stick or twist?
Not sure it would help but my gut feeling is we can`t change the coach until after this season but a crisis meeting of the whole staff and board might help to get everyone to pull together and save our season now.
Otherwise a dispirate group will end up struggling further and ensuring our relegation.

I agree - Keena is a project signing and anything we get out of him this season will be a bonus. The real criticism should be aimed at the people making a project signing instead of someone to do the job now. I`m sure the club expected him to score enough goals to help keep us up this season,it was...

Slight bright spot for me, I think Olayinka was positive and tried to take players on and beat a few, which is something nobody else in our squad appears to be able to do. He needs to be playing more football a loan would have done him good but it`s probably too late given our poor squad choices fo...

Well, hadn't been doing too bad. Not much threat from Derby and then just weak defending and an easy goal. Broom is so weak, hasn't got anything to his game right now. Perry, to be fair, has looked a lot more in the game further forward. Still trudges round like he's got lead weights in his boots t...

I am really conflicted on the whole matter to be honest. I really want Wade to succeed but as every game goes by resulting in another passive, insipid performance the less hope I have that we will stay up no matter what we do. Just as a passing comment, if the board to decide to pull the trigger on...
