Stevenage 1 - 0 Cheltenham (banker).
Cheltenham 1 - 1 Colchester
Cheltenham 0 - 2 Carlisle (This is when the rose-tinters hit a brick wall called 'REALITY').
Newport 1 - 0 Cheltenham
Cheltenham 1 - 1 Harrogate
Play offs.......and that means another season in this noddy league.

If you are going to troll at least come up with something good. Poor effort. Had your vaccine yet?
Out of interest have we ever won or drawn even at Stevenage since both clubs have been in the FL?
Can't recall any decent results there?
Only time I ever went to Broadhall Way was when we won the Conference in '98/99, 2-2 draw and Bob Bloomer sent off.

He also told me he would love to introduce him to RCS and stand back and watch with interest.

I’ll have a pint of craft or cider with Mal.
How about a wager? If we go up, Mal buys me a pint. If Mal is proven correct and we don’t go up, I will buy him one.
We can talk about bikes and vegetarianism.

I take it the moderators will have a word with this simpleton about the language used.

IM SAYING WE WILL BE IN THE PLAY OFFS BECAUSE OF INCONSISTENCY.
If we're talking about consistency, other than that dodgy spell around Christmas we've been near the top of the form table all season. Yes we've had a few more defeats than we'd like but other than Bolton I'm not sure anyone at the top has been able to string 5+ wins in a row or go 10+ unbeaten (and even Bolton have hit a bit of a patch now). Everyone is entitled to their view but I think the reaction to yours is because, over the season, there's been little evidence to suggest your predicted results will happen.

I've been led to believe that if Cheltenham win Saturday and Bolton beat Morecambe we are promoted.
Yes you are correct.
If Bolton beat Morecambe and we win they are six points behind us. Morecambe would only have two games left. With out goal difference they can’t overtake us.

This thread is unravelling faster than the ESL.
I credit RCS for that joke.

If we didn't bottle it at Morecambe and won then we would be promoted today.triggo wrote:Fat lady is starting to do her warm up routine.

The worst case scenario is Bolton drawing at Morecambe, which would mean Robins needing just 5 points from their remaining 4 games to reach the 80 points needed to guarantee automatic promotion. Moreover, IF we were to win our last 4 games, no one could stop the Robins becoming champions. A big ask, especially at Newport, but far from impossible.RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote:Day after the matchMalabus wrote:It was an after match rant after that diabolical display at Crawley.

Incorrect. Morecambe could only reach 79 and our GD is much better. We only need four points in reality.vickeryc wrote:The worst case scenario is Bolton drawing at Morecambe, which would mean Robins needing just 5 points from their remaining 4 games to reach the 80 points needed to guarantee automatic promotion. It's not incorrect, RCS, because I was portraying the worst (not best) case scenario. True, Morecambe 's goal difference is currently 11 worse than ours, but in the worst case scenario it's not inconceivable that it could be overcome.
