Must be a reason why we always seem to play them midweek ? Home and away, again.

I've been there enough times now to be honest, done it mid-week too won't bother with the four trip this season so I am quite thankful it's mid-week and on the radio.

It makes sense imo.

Thinking about it, they are likely to bring one of the smallest crowds to WR, and us to BP. So, by moving it to midweek we don't lose too much revenue, and a Saturday afternoon is freed up for a team who will bring more fans (where the impact of midweek would be greater).

I.e. It has a small opportunity cost for both sides.

(Or, Red Duke's and my lobbying of the FA/FL to arrange a relatively close post-work away game is successful once again.)

Carlisle normally bring around 250 here on a Saturday that's more than the likes of Colchester, Morecambe, Cambridge etc will bring!

I'm going to try and go. Proper away day, and I haven't been for many years.
