Danny Whitehead arrives on a season long loan from Wigan, can he play in goal or in central defence? Only joking, if Gary says we need him, that's it.

Strange one on the face of it, seems to be a number ten type player, felt we are well stocked there but hope we are still signing a winger, centre haf and keeper.

Perhaps as a result of Storers non availability

Welcome

Don't want to be told off for starting a new thread, but some of your questions answered here: http://bit.ly/MidfielderSigns" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Is someone leaving, perhaps? Munnsie to VGR for a million, perhaps?

Anyway, welcome Dan or Danny number 5.

"We all dream of a team of Dan or Dannys, a team of Dan or Dannys..." etc, ad nausea...

Well it was only mentioned a couple of days ago that our centre midfield looked a little light. Gives us another option if we're struggling to make chances in a game.

What's strange about it? As GJ says it adds competitition in a four but also allows us to go 352 with Storer out. Nice bit of business by the club.

It's strange because GJ said we wanted a squad of 20, we need defenders, a winger, keeper too if Phillips does not return and because central midfield we are well stocked (Storer, Pell, Hall, Munns and Rowe) however if he's better than what we have then I am all for it.

Maybe GJs thinking is that he's too good to miss and then when Storer is back in a few weeks time whichever one of them is out of favour will be sent out on loan to trim the wage bill.

GJ said he was too good to miss, so I am hoping he is better than we have and I've said all summer we just needed 2-3 players who will kick on that little bit more.

And a lad from the championship wouldn't be better than what we have, obviously :roll:

Trolling? Haha, do you even know what that means? I'm not the one starting arguments or being abusive. Just expressing an opinion or are we not allowed to think differently?

I notice the players call " Holman" to "Goalman" to avoid confusion with Wright,i think O`Shaunnessy could be named "Shoggy"given that`s how he pronounces his name.Remember the Oggy-men some years back,could be Shoggy ! shoggy ! shoggy ! Oi ! Oi ! Oi !.
