Saw a few drops of rain this morning, and just felt that the one thing this season has been lacking is a Malabus warning over biblical weather. Come on Mal, you are slacking. Did you miss pre-season training?

A further thought, is there any chapter of the bible referring to a "hot summer day"? Ezekiel, maybe? Which books of the old testament were best on weather conditions?

It was pretty warm and sunny when old J.C was being tempted in the desert by Satan.

Weather is always being continuously monitored in great depths. Any "biblical" warnings will be announced directly in the usual manner.

It really was biblical. Luckily, it all ended around 3pm. First time I remember seeing the pitch being mopped before kick off.

Gloucester must not be allowed on it before we play next.

I couldn't make Cheltenham today and can vouch for the mother of all storms that hit my neck of the woods here in the [ahem] South Cotswolds.

Here in the North East, It has been warm and sunny enough to have a Bar-B-Que for the first time in two years.

Indeed, shorts, t-shirt and sun-cream on the allotment and at the Whitley Bay vs North Shields derby this afternoon.

Apart from beating Boston United tomorrow, obviously. :)

Seemed to be the only problem down in the corner between the Colin Farmer Stand and the Hazelwoods, where the pitch was being given a good fork...and mopping before the game for 20 minutes. The amount of water that was being swept off was quite amazing, despite the amount that came down.
