Downes and Barthram on bench, Dickie in for Suliman, who misses out entirely and Jennings not on bench either
JB came on to something of a heroes return from the fans. I only saw the end but GJ seemed to embrace him at the end in front of The Colin Farmer Stand. Barts didn't look overly happy about it though and seemed to be saying something to Rowe behind his hand as they walked away? But I don't want to s#!t stir, I'm sure it was all innocent.

Very good performance today. We totally outplayed them for the first 30 minutes and Crewe really didn't look like they knew what had hit them. They got back into it after that, playing tidy triangles as usual, but our lads worked hard and restricted them to a few half chances when the ball flew around the box, and we were just as likely to score on the break.
Easily our best performance of the season and with 9 players from last season in the starting line-up - any coincidence?

Excellent performance today, far far better than any of the other league games to date.
I saw that and thought how inept C5 were.Shade wrote:Did anybody watch the "highlights" on 5 on Saturday night? So professional, they used and talked about the table from last week at the end, after 4 games had been played, and we were still down in 21st place with 0 wins...
