Ran his socks off; pressured and played well with Wright. My MOTM and a great example of what GJ requires from his players. Brilliant.

I think he was MOTM today, however as an underlying trend he needs to figure out how to time his runs properly.
He runs forward and is constantly caught offside and with L2 defences being that bit cannier and better makes it even harder to time runs forward. Overcoming that and I feel he would be an even greater asset to the squad.

Yes agreed worked tirelessly but so did Rowey who really should be called the artful dodger after that performance.
Picked their pockets half a dozen times
Set up the Waters best chance doing just that in the first half.
All in all great performance from the whole team and made Crewe look very ordinairy especially first half.
Was that the first time they lost in the league ?

Hard to pick a motm. Genuinely every player had a very good game and it couldn't have been much different to last Saturday. Rob Dickie made such a huge difference at the back, how he's in L2 must only be down to the players preference in coming back to us because he's easily L1 standard now. But Billy found that extra 10% against his former club and was a bit unlucky he didn't get a goal.

Yes, it was Crewe's first defeat and they have the same record as us now, W1, D3, L1.

Sounds like the players continued the energy and work rate from the Newcastle game.
