Off the play offs.

You'd have a chance of promotion being that far behind in April, let alone October.

Plenty still to play for, although it is important we follow up with good results in the next few games obviously.

Confident now we have Downes and Stoz back - and we're suspension free next week - that all these draws will start being converted into wins more often than not. Hopefully Billy will go on one of his runs now and by the time that ends Mr Holman will be back and firing.

Isn't Danny Wright suspended next week?

Yeah, didn't realise he'd had five bookings. And learnt Hall is injured after my post as well. Maybe we'll have to go through the whole season missing at least a couple of players every week...

still only 1 point above 23rd - its very tight - a couple of wins would see us rise

Indeed, as is always the case during the early stages of the season. It won't be until January that it becomes clear to most teams how the season is shaping up and what they will be fighting for.

Six becomes four. Still so tight in these early stages.

Regarding Holman, interesting interview with GJ before the game saying Gavin Crowe is giving DH, I can't remember the exact phrase, but something like "extensive rehab" as advised by the specialist, which basically amounts to GC yanking his toe every which way but loose several times a day. GJ said the screams from DH are blood curdling (again, not an exact quote, but something like that) and I think, for once, he wasn't joking when he said it. He said Wright and the others that were injured stayed back here today, but DH went with them so GC could keep working on him.
