The O's .. still in with a fight

To be honest, much as I want us to stay up, I would like it to be on merit rather than as a direct consequence of Orient going under. They are a decent club and I hope they survive. Orient have a modest, loyal, fan base and are in a similar position to the likes of Rochdale, Bury, Accrington and Walsall - battling in the shadow of much bigger clubs.

Os are down tax paid or not. Relegation and closure is their fate.
Relegation is one thing; closure is something entirely different, which I would not take any pleasure from. I understand that the O's have a reprieve until June to pay remaining creditors and the outstanding amount is much less than was paid to HMRC today. If that's correct, I'd expect them to survive even if they are relegated (which seems inevitable).
