so brain of britain Pell gets booked meaning 1 more mindless booking next week rules him out of the pool game when we may need points
The best part is we are almost safe and its in our hands and the next best thing would be being safe on Saturday and then it wouldnt matter
Favourite moment of the season

FWIW, other than Pell yesterday which is obvs the best, my favourite moment of the season was probably Wright's late winner v Carlisle. We'd been bombarding them and finally got the breakthrough so late on.

Wright vs Carlisle or Pell celebrating yesterday my two best moments too.

Imo avoiding relegation is a bare minimum, not a best moment. In this write-off season it is nice to remember the best feelings, and Pell riling the Cods was up there with Dan and Dan combining late on vs Carlisle.

Won't forget that cod muppet in the blue jacket running down the steps to abuse Pell only to get 2-0 rubbed in his face!CTFCfan99 wrote:Pell yesterday by a mile. Absolutely loved it.

The whole of August was actually alright.
A few solid draws to open the campaign, followed by defeat by Doncaster when we mostly matched them. Then to Newcastle and a win against Crewe. All looking pretty rosy over August Bank Holiday, wasn't it?

It was, but Holman's movement and understanding with Wright created the space.Shade wrote:Wasn't it Dayts crossing for Wright? I may be mistaken.RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote: Dan and Dan combining late on vs Carlisle.

For me it was the woman living across the road who forgot to close her bedroom curtains during the dark winter months .!!!
Only joking . Probably Scottie's penalty save against Morecambe allowing us to go on and win the game .

Good point. Hate to think what might have been had we conceded and lost that game. Survival would have been in the balance for sure.Round Robin wrote:For me it was the woman living across the road who forgot to close her bedroom curtains during the dark winter months .!!!

Opening day of the season and being back in the FL was a great moment for me.

Yes, especially with the Champions making their FL debuts. Shame some turned against them so quickly.London Exile wrote:Opening day of the season and being back in the FL was a great moment for me.
