Hi all , how many do you think we will take to Coventry on Saturday seeing as it’s just over a hour away and by far the best stadium we will go to this season in league 2 , also our first ever visit to the Ricoh arena what are u guys predicting numbers wise ? If we was to win that would take us 2 points behind Coventry... : I’m going for : 850

I would think, the races being on, will have an impact on numbers

Can you buy tickets on the day of the Match?

Yes, but I think they are £3 more than the one I bought last Saturday - and at £22, that was not cheap

Got to keep Sisu's income up somehow.

I would hope for a thousand but with Christmas I'm expecting around 700 or so.

Wish I could be optimistic about a result but we rarely seem to do well with a big following and away at big clubs.

That was probably the last time we did well at a big club RCS, can't think of any others in recent memory other than Norwich in the league cup.

I think we'll take somewhere between 500 and 700. Would have been more if we were any good away from home and Christmas wasn't looming. I plan to be there. Mansfield took 1,200 for a similar journey but they are better supported than us.

As an aside, I was shocked to see Yeovil only had 1,500 at their FA Cup replay last night!

The Way effect. Our lodger is Yeovil as are his family etc so we chat about it quite a lot. Fans have no confidence in the owners (zero ground investment or future planning) and lost faith in Way two years ago. Until Way is finally sacked (well overdue) and the owners do something positive (still dining out on using one-season loans to get to the Championship) it is likely gates will continue to diminish further.

A lesson for any other 'minnow' who gets to the Championship; don't manage it how Yeovil did otherwise it could be non-league five years later. Such a contrast to the off-the-pitch consolidation Burton have done.

With Yeovil run as a basket case and with a manager out of his depth you can't blame fans for taking £20 quid elsewhere.

Adam Virgo tweeted a couple of days ago saying he expects to be commentating on Yeovil in the NL next season, club is being run into the ground. Lots of fans agreed with him.

300 in advance you would imagine it's going to be around 600 then as I doubt most bother in advance? Still a poor showing given it's a huge club just over an hour away.

We never sell many in advanced , I reckon we could get 600/700 which isn’t bad considering time of year and races on etc , just dissaponting that we can’t take 1k as it’s not far and will be the best stadium we visit in league 2 this season.

Unless you're doing the 92, who cares about the stadium? I don't get it. It will be well under a third full and like an empty, soulless cavern. It's not like Coventry are a big team - they're in League 2 for a reason. If you're going somewhere just for the surroundings, there are many nicer or more important places to go on a Saturday afternoon a week before Christmas...not in Coventry, mind.

^ just some of the thoughts of the majority of CTFC fans that aren't going tomorrow afternoon.

The result and performance of CTFC is all.

It's the best ground in the division by some distance, an hour away and against the biggest club in league two. Not sure how many we took in the end, heard someone say it was a thousand but looked around 600 or so hard to tell.

Loved the ground though a proper football stadium and the atmosphere was the best I've experienced this season despite the very low crowd.

I was sat in the home end with a Cov fan near the halfway line and it looked about 600 Chelt fans to me. We made a bit of noise at times and would have been really loud if we had taken the lead. The acoustics in the ground are good so even a small crowd can make a decent noise.
