I suppose much depends on what happens in the next four games.
Realistically, anything less than 9 points from these games would be hugely disappointing and no reason we shouldn't expect 10 points.
10 points would leave us on 37 points from 25 games. Assuming play offs needs 70 points, the par after 25 games to get that would be 38 points.
So we would be very much in the race and transfer activity should reflect that and seek to add quality to ensure we 'kick on'.
If we fail during the next four games and end up with a meagre return then we will be off the pace. Maybe then the Board/Gary may want to save funds for summer squad building?

Sensible planning Regency. In the mean time Davey might return if Taylor Moores scan brings bad news.

Agree with Flatt, Hinds and possibly Holman [hasn't set the world alight on loan.. sadly]; also if a decent No9 is available [ship DW out on loan] and a decent defender [L sided too]...as a start, if a possible play-off situation is the target.

Good point. Winchester and Boyle certainly benefitting from being signed in January.everyman wrote:I would start to build next seasons team,it makes such a difference if pre-season most have been "Cheltenhamified" as G.J.says.

Not a lot. Had a trial in a Grimsby pre-season match but not signed on as once again a professional in the game decided he was not go enough for their League 2 side - a recurring theme since 2013.Nesty wrote:I wonder what Mustoe is doing these days ?
Time to forget about him Nesty.
