Probably not. GJ is a pretty straightforward guy who normally fronts things out more often - and more effectively - than most. Why cast aspersions?

Maybe GJ has decided it's pointless him doing all the interviews as he gets asked, basically, the same questions and, as it's a feel-good week, he's let Russ handle it.

Seeing as the same people who are now in a tizz about him not doing the interviews jump on his interviews to slag him off when he does do them he probably thinks what’s the point - haters gonna hate either way.
