As good as Hussey is - as a left back in a 4-4-2 I'd struggle to leave Jamie Victory out. As a wing-back in the current system though, then I'd go with Hussey.

For me - assuming we went 3-5-2

Higgs

Duff-Banks-Tozer

Long (WB)------------Hussey (WB)

McCann-Finners-Sercomber

Gillespie-Naylor

If we went 4-4-2 though:

Higgs

Gill-Banks-Duff-Victory

Devaney-McCann-Sercombe-Milton

Gillespie-Naylor

Up front I've gone with who I think our best forwards are/were (in both teams). I actually think they're too similar as players.

What I find truly fascinating is that I don't find space for Grayson.

Getting a little ahead of ourselves, picking an all-time promotion winning team containing players with whom we haven't won promotion with - yet!

It is very much in the context of this squad being capable of achieving what those other two promotion winning squads couldn't.
