CTFC vs Crawley Town Away 31st August 2019
Well, entertaining, end to end stuff; especially second half. I even 'bought' a programme - well used my get one free card - on the basis we'll probably not see CTFC in the playoffs again. Defence nervous , especially at the speed of their forward line. We were caught out and outpaced all too easily. Lucky perhaps just to concede only two. However after the red card we didn't pressure their defence; slow, aimless sideways passing. Lloyd tame shot when a through ball to Reilly [?] would have been better option. Still too much sloppy passing and hoof ball up to our diminutive forwards; play on the ground please. Corner kicks poor, far too many too near the goalie; and boy do we get caught on the break!
I see on another thread the suggestion that G Lloyd is loaned out; agree. Thought he was not up to 'mid-table' team level yet.
Crawley - hoping for a draw so I'll go 1-1 with Varney to score. Good to see a couple of new predictors; some of the more established ones appear to be on holiday; sunning themselves on a lovely white sandy beach somewhere no doubt; so Weston -S - mud it isn't.

On the basis that Crawley have really only played teams down and around the lower half of the table so far...
Crawley 1-2 CTFC
Reilly
PS sorry to mention it again but the Carlisle points are still wrong. Mine are now right but everyone else that predicted 2-1 or 2-0 seem to still be wrong
That 5 points means a lot to me and I'm sure will be crucial at the end of the season

Sort out the Carlisle scoring. (Done.... problems with pc!....and the rare euphoria of a ctfc Win... ) Have to use an iPad, my pc won’t log on due to the site being red-flagged.

Hopefully all sorted; Red Duke leading the pack with 20, Shade and OTC close behind on 15. Pie and Joe's dad still to get off the mark, but I'm sure will enter the scoring fray soon.
At least I wore my old CTFC shirt last Saturday, the temperature has to be a balmy 20oC plus to venture out in 'T-shirts'!
