Duku on the bench?! Serious? Or a name to make up the numbers?

Unacceptable, GJ probably less than two hours from the sack as it stands.

The free kick was in before it was taken. Dead centre, inside the D, 10 players in front of the keeper, and Danny Whitaker taking it...

The god damned ball just won't go in. Has a witch doctor put some kind of spell on us?

That's why they had as many points as us at the start of the match.

I always thought it was a cliche people saying the luck sometimes just isn't with a team  just seems to be any decent chance we have gets cleared off the line etc

unfortunately not everything we are doing right now though boils down to luck, and johnson has 55 minutes to save his job I'd imagine

There's no question that GJ will be sacked if we lose tonight, or at least if we don't improve somewhat in the second half.

Currently bottom in the table as it stands.

I'm absolutely appalled at our display so far.

This cannot carry on surely.

Lucky to be only 1 down still no goal threat. Probably worse performance of the season and that takes some doing! Johnson has 45 mins to save his job.

With morecambe scoring, am i right in saying we are the only EFL team (not including prem of course) not to score a goal in the league?

Performance little difference to the last 10.5 league games.

WTF do we do at the training ground all week. Half of our team don’t look like they’ve ever seen a football before and we have to bear in mind that we are playing a team with no great pedigree so far this season.
The only player with any substantial credit on our side is, as usual, Scott Flinders. May as well bung him the Player of the Year now.

That's a bit harsh. Boyle has played well, Debayo has done ok, as has Thomas.

Why is Hussey playing, he stands out like a sore thumb, he looks like a footballer

Well, once again we've looked better in this second half and Hussey is noticeably a class above Debayo, but we still don't look like we're actually going to get the ball over the line.

Well, it's s#!t or bust now. Just about every first team attacker on the pitch. GJ is throwing everything at it. Last throw of the dice.

Will a point be enough to save GJ after what has generally been a tame performance against what looks a fairly tame Macclesfield?

Credit where it’s due, we have been much better last half hour. What a difference a target man makes.Maybe a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel?

One imagines so. An improved result and rumoured to close a tall striker on loan in the two working days since the Board meeting.

Pleased for Duku and GJ . No matter what your opinion, very tough position for GJ to be in.
We showed good glimpses on Sat,, with a striker , a few goals, confidence and tails up a bit, we might scrape to a lower mod table position.l But we’re not anything above mid table material at best. I have no expectation for the season other than aim to be L2 next one .l

Macc missed a penalty and had a goal disallowed for offside, And they are bottom.
A step in the right direction yes but doesn't change anything for me.
The board may decide to give him more time but it's just papering over the cracks. Sorry

Got to agree, we should be beating teams like Macclesfield yet it sounded like we could have been two or three down before we equalised.

Fair enough drgm. My opinion is a little different. With a decent striker we look a different prospect. Not anything special and I suspect this will be a long season, but the deep pessimism I felt Macc scored has at least lifted a little.

As for the "we should be beating teams like Macclesfield" from Robin, what a load of arrogant tosh.

To be honest I have given up thinking he will go he should of gone before the season even began but were Cheltenham and like to prolong the inevitable. No wonder we just drift along and attendances continue to decrease. Tonight we scraped an underserved point against arguably the worse team in the league it just isn't good enough.

Come on, chin up lads. We're only 6 points off the playoffs.
