Someone on another forum made a valid point in regards to EFL and vetting, if the final option for a club was deemed not acceptable by the EFL and the deadline was passed then the EFL would then be making the decision to expel that club, that is a precedent the EFL don't want

Well it happened anyway. After a year of can kicking with fans being mined for their ST feed and players not being paid.
