Interesting. Hopefully it doesn’t turn out to be a failure like other clubs who have gone down this road. Imo the manager must control recruitment.

With the Head of Coaching having departed last week this seems to just be a wider remit with a grander job title . I reckon recruitment is a joined up process already . I think it is great that producing your own is seen as part of the process.Looks like a step forward to me.

Yeah, doesn't seem to be a huge difference from the job he has already been doing, and he obviously already works well with MD.
