Capacity for the away end is 1224.
Pretty confident they will all go.

Love to see a gallery of CTFC fan photos from the home areas.
Hopefully the team actually turn up against them for once as it will be good when watching the highlights to see half the home end celebrating every time we score.

This thread already been picked up and mocked on the plastics forum:

Wow they are deluded on that forum, we are apparently only a slightly bigger club than them Have they ever taken 1900 to Wembley and 2000+ for league games like we have. Our support is at a low point but we are capable of getting decent crowds when riding a crest of a wave.RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote:This thread already been picked up and mocked on the plastics forum:

They are right Happy memories of the FA Trophy final, when the Town all but emptied and teh banners over the bridges as we made our way to the M4. For once the idiot seems to be giving reasonably correct figures. To quote him from that thread:drgm wrote:Yes but they've got OTC doing their attendance calculations - no wonder they are deluded!
“ Cheltenham’s average crowd this season is 3405.
FGR’s largest crowd this season has been [4216] Swindon and our average crowd is 2542.”
There is a very good article by Chris Dunlavy in the latest "The Football League Paper". He writes about how vulnerable Salford City are to things not working out as planned and the money men walking away,he argues they are as vulnerable as R&D were. Because they have no history or tradition other than gates of 200.
Then he says , the same is true of FGR and Fleetwood, they are clubs elevated and sustained by the wealth of their owners only.

Oh do please the quote in full:RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote:For once the idiot seems to be giving reasonably correct figures. To quote him from that thread:drgm wrote:Yes but they've got OTC doing their attendance calculations - no wonder they are deluded!
“ Cheltenham’s average crowd this season is 3405.

"Last season 2018-19
• Cheltenham was our 3rd largest crowd [3582].
The two games above them were vital promotion matches:
• Exeter [4537] on last game of season with Exeter needing win for play-off place.
• Tranmere [4492] in play-off
Season 2017-18
• Cheltenham 2nd best crowd [3641]
• Largest was Grimsby for last game of season [3880]
Conference season 2015-16
• Largest crowd Cheltenham [3127]
However even if TNL is packed out solid it will be less than match earlier at Whaddon Road [5788], their largest of season.
Cheltenham’s average crowd this season is 3405.
FGR’s largest crowd this season has been [4216] Swindon and our average crowd is 2542."
Yes they do. First one is FGR's home gates averaged out; the second adds in the home gates of Bradford and Plymouth and does the same; the third includes the populations of small eastern African states. Surprisingly enough, by OTC's third level of calculation, FGR's average home gate this season is over 17 million!asl wrote:I can't be bothered to check....do the numbers go up with each post?

Even the African fans will view the sanitation and catering facilities at TNL as sub-standard.Ben3 wrote:Yes they do. Gretna are the go-to example of how rapid elevation enabled by a wealthy individual can rapidly go titsup.little mo wrote:There is a very good article by Chris Dunlavy in the latest "The Football League Paper". Can we rise above this juvenile "our crowds are bigger than your crowds" willy waving please?
Surely this is OK as long as we keep not less than 1 meter apart and wash our hands for a minimum of 20 seconds, after the waving ????Jerry St Clair wrote:Can we rise above this juvenile "our crowds are bigger than your crowds" willy waving please?
Rushden as well.Jerry St Clair wrote:Gretna are the go-to example of how rapid elevation enabled by a wealthy individual can rapidly go titsup.little mo wrote:There is a very good article by Chris Dunlavy in the latest "The Football League Paper". Don't say that too loudly. I know from personal experience that pointing this out doesn't win you any favours if you're an FGR fan!Jerry St Clair wrote:Gretna are the go-to example of how rapid elevation enabled by a wealthy individual can rapidly go titsup.little mo wrote:There is a very good article by Chris Dunlavy in the latest "The Football League Paper". 1m won’t be a big enough waving space for some of us.Ihearye wrote:Surely this is OK as long as we keep not less than 1 meter apart and wash our hands for a minimum of 20 seconds, after the waving ????Jerry St Clair wrote:Can we rise above this juvenile "our crowds are bigger than your crowds" willy waving please?
In equally big news, the government have decided not to call in the Junction 13 Bowl for review, so FGR get the go ahead to start the folly.
