Me too. That quality, combined with his haircut, is why I credited Chapman with the delivery in an incorrect post in the SW match thread.Shade wrote:Hopefully Alfie will be on corners again tonight. I was very surprised at the quality of his deliveries on Saturday, having never seen him take them before.
Anyway, Freestone… a tough game this evening but commeth the hour.

Sounds awful.Shade wrote:Ohmygod Vassell. He slipped but that will be miss of the season.
Take the miss out of it and Vassell has, I think, been our worst player in that half. Generally everyone has had good touch and passing tonight, knocking it around well, but Vassell just hasn't been at that level so far.
Certainly an entertaining game.

Even half. Neither side look brilliant - Portsmouth look like they have another gear to click.
Some loose passing, especially from Flinders and Chapman. Portsmouth showing more aggression to win the second ball as the half progressed.
Crowley could make a difference in this one.

Passengers cannot be accommodated. Hook him for KJ or AW.Shade wrote:Take the miss out of it and Vassell has, I think, been our worst player in that half. Generally everyone has had good touch and passing tonight, knocking it around well, but Vassell just hasn't been at that level so far.

God damnit, not another injured defender. Long and Freestone as a back 2 doesn't fill me with much confidence. But then neither did Caines and Gallinagh and I believe they still hold the record for consecutive minutes without a league goal conceded.
Horton...time for his first goal as well...

Although saying that, he has just blocked a certain goal from Crowley.

Get Joseph on. Height and pace and strength.

Yes but we are pretty flakey at defending set pieces.
It's not been his night so far, but he is probably one of the few who could produce a piece of magic... Difficult decisions.

This next 15 mins seems a pivotal moment in our season.

He'll Cruyff on the line, he'll Cruyff on the line, Daniel Crowley, he'll Cruyff on the line.

Playing with adversity after a small winless run. 18 days til the next league game. If we hold on or sneaking that’s 18 days of confidence building and resilience. A loss and it is 18 days of ruing misfortune and thinking everything is going against us.Shade wrote:Nah.
