Listening to radio - why is that idiot on a yellow do that....mind numbingly dumb!
Therefore going to be a loss....too late to change my prediction!

He was way too late on the second one. No need to commit to the challenge either. Absolute idiot.
Don't believe what those clowns on the radio say, they haven't got a clue what's going on most of the time.theidlerich wrote: ↑16 Dec 2023, 15:20 Listening to radio - why is that idiot on a yellow do that....mind numbingly dumb!

Where are you sat/stood? I'm right in front of the first and it was nothing like a headbutt. Second, the bloke ran at him, into him and threw himself down because he knew he had just been booked!

Hopefully with the wind we will play more in their half and get some chances and get Goodwin on their CH and it’ll get evened up !!

For fu$k$ sake, 89th min equaliser
So close to an important 3 points! Teams that go down often have bad disciplinary records…. how many red cards have we had this season?!

You'd have enjoyed the first 80 minutes. Last 10 I think everyone watching could see those goals coming a mile off, we just completely ran out of steam. Orient were garbage and that was the definition of a smash and grab.
We are a good competitve side in this league now but we do need to clean up the discipline (even if the decisions are often questionable) and stop scoring so many pissing own goals.
And, hopefully this won't become too much of a trend, but we've scored first in the last 3 games and only got 1 point. You take the lead in 3 straight games I think the minimum you should end up with is a win and 2 draws.
The grit , the determination , the passion, the commitment was all there . Just didn’t get the rub of the green and I thought the subs was the right time , but right ones .
The ref : about the most inept performance I have seen in the last decade . Just hope there was a refs assessor present .

Yes, I think a win and two draws would be reasonable to expect after three games in which we scored first. It's good to hear that we were competitive for eighty minutes. The situation is a little frustrating, but not hopeless.CTFCfan99 wrote: ↑16 Dec 2023, 17:20You'd have enjoyed the first 80 minutes. Bottom line, for whatever reason, it was a crucial game and we blew it. If we don‘t take 3 points from this type of game we‘ll simply run out of winnable games.
Good post.CTFCfan99 wrote: ↑16 Dec 2023, 17:20You'd have enjoyed the first 80 minutes. Last 10 I think everyone watching could see those goals coming a mile off, we just completely ran out of steam. Orient were garbage and that was the definition of a smash and grab.

For me Williams was mad to risk that second yellow when the bloke wasn't going anywhere.
He can count himself unlucky to have received that soft first one though.
Opinions hey!
We seem to be back to Bradbury not being trusted again despite not really having done much wrong. Even to the point Williams is being played ahead of him at CB.
As much as I didn't think he should have been sent off today, I thought Long would have been at CB and Ferry on the right as Williams feels like a liability there. How many times has Williams been sent off now?

Twice, if JP was correct when Tweeting this: “First red for Williams since his #ctfc debut dismissal against Wigan.”Shade wrote: ↑16 Dec 2023, 18:21 We seem to be back to Bradbury not being trusted again despite not really having done much wrong. The first was never a yellow, the second was plain stupidity though.
Unfortunately that meant the rest of the team were running on fumes in the last 010 mins and we just couldn't get home.
It's a killer, but it's crucial we don't let today's disappointment linger. We need to use it as fuel for the Christmas games. We're good enough to stay up and we have to show it in the next few games.
