Miller must be injured?
Personally, I think this is probably the best looking side we have put out this season.

Miller hamstring I believe.
So we’ve got fit two strikers. However did it come to this?

Abysmal. Every single set piece they have at least 1 player in acres of space. And that's just the start of the problems.

And why the f#!$ is Day going long to Archer or Angol on the left wing every single time ffs. Absolutely pointless.

We aren’t exactly playing badly but Oldham are by far the better team and have hit the post twice. We’re at home against a team that has only scored 5 goals this season and was in a lower division last season, and yet we’re struggling just to stay in the game. I really can’t see how we can get enough points to stay up. Change needed.

There isn't one of our players who could get into the Oldham team. Yards ahead of us

He's got to now. Right now. Don't come out for the second half, Mike. Downes and Vincent to follow him out the door.

No doubt…..there is something seriously wrong with the coaching in the club.

55 minutes and one shot on target? At home? Does Flynn not want to win?

Pett must be happy not to be here🙄

That sounds like we're playing pretty badly to me.

Cheltenham Town are in for a titanic struggle to stay up (excuse the pun). It never bodes well if you are in the bottom two after the first 9 or 10 games. I predict Flynn will be gone by Monday morning and Steve Cotterill appointed as DoF with freedom to appoint a new coach.

If that doesn't seal the P45, wtf will.

Shambolic doesn't cover it.

Flynn has to go. We also don’t want MM back or we’ll be known as the club who take back those who moved on.

Given his well-known opposition to the DoF model, what makes you think he would be so hypocritical to take the job, himself??

It is hard to believe that this crowd are actually picking up a wage every week for this 5hit, and what is worse is am helping to pay it

I'm ashamed to say that I decided I'd rather watch the WRWC semifinal so kept my £19 in my pocket.

The coaching team can leave by the Canteen exit, no need to go into the dressing room.

Perhaps a bit of arm twisting by Garlick might persuade him? And the fact he needs a salary coming in!!? Is it a coincidence SC was at the game today or is he now a fully fledged supporter?

We’d be lucky to finish bottom half of the National League playing like that. A team that had scored 5 goals all season coasted to victory and should have had more.

Latics fans very happy with their team’s result and performance today but according to one fan, against the poorest team they’ve played this season

That’s exactly how i described it to my son… that performance, and recent ones, wouldn’t even grace Beazer Homes league North or whatever it is now…

There must be 20 or so out of contracts that could do a better job? Certainly couldn't be any worse. Where is Roy Race when you need him

I feel like I need to lock myself in a dark room after that. For what little it's worth we did at least try in the first half but then gave up after they scored a goal. Surely that is now it for Flynn and we can have someone new in charge next week.

I only read it afterwards, I had assumed he would be gone but hadn't seen Jon's post.

Some bigger picture stuff to take account of today.

Accrington won at MK and have been going well, so one of the favourites for relegation is already nearly 25% of the way to 40 points.

Crawley, who we didn’t lay a glove on last week, got humped 4-0 at Notts.

Shrews and Newport also lost.

Looking possible that the bottom three (us, Shrews, Newport) might get cut adrift from the rest in the coming weeks - there’s already a 3/4 point gap to Crawley. Although they have been on a bit of a purple patch, so might get dragged into if they don’t keep that up.

I don’t fancy scrapping it out with any of them. The new gaffer is going to have a hell of a job on.

It was pi55 poor from everyone, bar Kinsella. I sat there and watched Angol (spelling? actually can't be @rsed to check), casually stroll back to get into an onside position, every fecken time! No sense of urgency, no understanding that if we actually won a second ball that he was immediately out of the play. How much skill does it take to actually run back to make yourself available? How much personal pride do you have to have in yourself to break sweat? And we are all the mugs who pay circa £30 to give him the luxury of being able to do it.
Sadly he is not the only one by a long way, but given his position it was the most obvious. Definitely one of, if not the worst, playing squads I have ever seen at CTFC. They made Oldham looked like Real Madrid and we looked much the same as the lads on Whaddon rec who I passed on the way in. Except, we pay our lot a wage.

Wanted to highlight with all the goings on how Luke Young has had a practically free pass this season.

Deadbolt specialist - Hutchinson now taking free kicks and corners have been poor

Captain - Wilson took the armband yesterday and the leadership in this squad is wafer thin

Defensive midfielder - defence has been a shambles and thats alongside Kinsella doing pretty well breaking up play

Attacking - he should be the start of attacks coming from defence but the lumps up the pitch show its pretty non existent

His ever presence (and lack of presence) has contributed to the mire we're in.

Young has been very disappointing. Looks like the game is going on around him too much and, as you say, corners have been pointless. 3 from the left yesterday swung over everyone and out for a goal kick. You see Kins scrapping everywhere and he gets no help at all. Kins isn't the most talented on the ball and hasn't a clue what to do when he gets in the final third, but that sounds like the entire team.

I disagree...kinsella has been the only player from thos team with any credit. 7 or 8 lost weeks.

Yesterday after about half an hour it was clear that neither of the wingers were having any joy. Archer has been woeful all season but seemed un subable (is that even a word?!)
Martin was terrible....he simply didnt know his role...he didn't push on just came short...your a winger FFS. Baffling
But that's in Flynn not issuing clear instructions.

But flynn should have changed the system.

He didn't...the writing was on the wall.

We have no creativity. Hutch looks to bring others into play but its all to slow and ponderous...unlike the slick passing from athletico oldham.

When the chips are down you need leaders....there was none. There heads were down.

I really dont agree with the toxic chanting from CF1. It helps no body.
Yesterday some older fans arguing with the younger element. But our club has lost its way.

The fans need some spark to get behind the team. So far this season there has been none.

Looks like it will be 2 from 3 come the end of the season.

I really hope MG has someone ready to go.
Hard work and application will mask some of the lack of quality. But will it be enough?
