I think it's a shame as in spite of lack of end product he got people off their seats and when he got it out wide, the crowd reacted and hoped. We dont have many players like that.

Add to that he has genuine pace and in spite of limitations he will be a tough one to replace and particularly will be missed away from home

We may have lost someone who is occasionally tricky but hopefully we'll get someone in who can at least cross acurately. 9 assists for a creative player in 2 and a half seasons, especially as 2 of those season ended in the play-offs so we were doing well, is poor - no matter where he is being played, and let's not forget that most of that time he WAS playing in his preferred position.

I assume an assist is when they provide the ball to score goals
So if McGlashan wins a corner or a free kick and someone else takes it and they score it the taker who get the assist

Similarly when Mo was scoring all his headers Jermaine was on the halfway line as last man so was unlikely to score

What is it the say about statistics
Lie , damn lies and statistics

I am not surprised by this it's obvious he has something lined up in league one and I wish him well. However he was one of the few CTFC players that gave 110% and could create something special. Now that Jermaine, Curo and Sido are gone I don't see anyone in the squad capable of doing that and it's a depressing thought.

Given he was looking round Shrewsbury in the spring I'm not at all surprised, the whole twitter excuse was the most blatant smokescreen. He has had his bags packed for a while.

I personally think he one of the most dangerous players in the league. He may not have as many assists as your stereotypical wide player but how many free kicks did he win that led to goal scoring chances. I expect him to be successful in league one.

I've not seen Zak produce anything of real note yet apart from a fleeting cameo at Chesterfield to be honest. Hanks did well against Daggers but not someone we can rely on yet to open up a game. Byron in my view has done well but not that sort of player either.

OK ! so the player who kicks off from the centre spot has the most assists ?

A real shame. Yates didn't use him properly, and good luck to the lad, will no doubt come back to bite us.

I agree with this comment. Frankly, though, I think Jermaine's made the right decision for himself. While Yates stays, I don't think we'll be up to much. I'm waiting for a new regime.

9 years between trophies for the gunners
It could be along wait if the board settle for mid table and financial security and why shouldnt they?

Not many fans will settle for mid-table and financial security, expect crowds to drop even further. Sadly it appears we are back to the penny pinching old ways of 'little old Cheltenham'.

I will only settle for mid-table if each player gives 110%.

I expect 100% no matter than league position but if we are in the middle eight we are probably achieving what is to be expected given our club size.
