Padraig Amond has ditched Grimsby for recent perennial strugglers Hartlepool!

That's a really strange one! Why on earth would he want to go to a team which would have almost certainly finished about Hartlepool, and why would Grimsby sell him?

I can only think the move is for financial/personal reasons from Amond's perspective. I bet the Grimsby fans are not too impressed!!

Wow they've lost a few players Grimsby and to small league two clubs as well, can see them following a Barnet and finishing bottom half this year although Amond has never done much in the league anyway in my opinion.

Probably could not face another season under the hapless Hurst.

A very overrated player. Who would you chose, Holman or Almond.

Holman is certainly the better player in my eyes, Grimsby also lost a few of their other star players this summer, they may well struggle when they are signing the likes of Danny Andrew.

Danny Andrew has probably improved a lot Robin. He was football league last year.We were not.

Arnold is leaving too.
