Didn't see that one coming. Seems the first of their fans to react aren't overjoyed at the news.

Good luck to Cotts.
Got any free scoring forwards available for loan in January?

Given up waiting for a bigger club as a guess after 2 years out of work

Will we be the same league or a league above him next season, I wonder.

If Shrewsbury had a surplus of free scoring forwards they would not be sinking.

Seems a strange appointment in some ways. Just seen his presser on You Tube.
He looked a bit world-weary to me and seemed poorly prepared for the obvious questions that came his way.
Will always be a legend at Cheltenham though.
Three and a half year deal - he's obviously convinced the man that counts.

Unbelievable job - three 0-1 away wins at teams second, third and fourth in the league.

What a football genius he is

They only had one league win all season before he rocked up and beat 3 of the top 4. From relegation fodder to 16th already, and only 11 points off the play-offs - only 15 off top spot. What bets automatic promotion  I wonder if his Shrewsbury doubters are changing their minds yet.

Already talking about naming roads after him.

Beating the top 3 all away from home is pretty incredible. SC will always be a god

They were 100/1 on Skybet.

Bound to lose their next match now , but reinvesting some of the £5000 from the Xmas 500 club win could be tempting. :)
