No idea how much this should be relied upon, but a creditable placing for the Robins nonetheless.

Don't forget our SLO, the rest of the Trust Board, and some well meaning and proactive staff at the club too

For someone who hasn't got the will to read through all the pages of info, what is the short version of how they come up with these marks?

The Fan Engagement Index awards up to 240 points to clubs overall based on the quality of their Fan Engagement. It comprises three categories (up to 80 points each), which are:

1. Dialogue (the meetings and processes in place to practice two-way communication with their fanbase and its representatives).

2. Governance (what underpins, or reinforces these relationships).

3. Transparency (what they publish in relation to this dialogue).

Each category is broken down into a number of areas making up the total score for the category. Breakdowns as follows:

1. Dialogue:
- Structured Dialogue with supporters’ trust/independent supporters group.
- Structured Dialogue with wider group of representatives.
- Fans Forums.
- Social Media (does the club have a Twitter Help Channel or a Twitter SLO Channel).
- Any other Dialogue initiatives/innovations.

2. Governance:
- Are there supporter directors on the board of the club?
- Customer/Club/Supporter Charter: rating based on whether it’s easy to find, and contains information about the SLO, fan consultation, and supporter/customer services.
- Whether or not the SLO is clearly a ‘stand alone’ role at the club.
- Is there a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or other legal agreement with supporters’ trust or other independent group governing their relationship?

3. Transparency:
- Are reports or minutes published of structured dialogue meetings with supporters’ trust/ independent group and/or its structured dialogue with a wider group of representatives?
- Are agendas published in advance of any of these meetings?
- Are reports or minutes published of fans forums? Are agendas published in advance of fans forums?
- Does the club report on its board meetings?
- Does the club publish an agenda in advance of its board meetings?

A couple of related(ish) things to let Nest dwellers know about: there's a free co-EFL and Football Supporters Association 'Match Experience Fans' Forum' on Tuesday 28th March: https://www.robinstrust.org/posts/efl-m ... arch-2023/
The EFL has invited all supporters to an upcoming Fans Forum which will look at the current match experience – the free event takes place on Tuesday 28th March (6.30pm-8pm) and will be hosted by Sky Sports’ David Prutton with a panel of supporters and football industry figures.

And, the FSA has just launched the National Supporters Survey 2023: https://thefsa.org.uk/news/national-sup ... -launched/
