So DC got an apology after the disgrace of a decision at Bolton. Not wasting his breath at Derby over the penalty but is adamant it was.

I don't think these decisions CAN be evened out. We're currently about 10 dodgy decisions against, 2 for down. It'll be great if they do, though...

I think DC owes Peter Matthew’s an apology. He was only asking what happened with the freestone incident. He wasn’t asking for the diagnosis ffs

When the opposition manager says we should have had a pen then I think we can safely assume the officials screwed us over again:-

I think he did. Also asking about Dan Adshead’s loan possibly finishing when he should have been asking about players coming in.
In DC I trust.

Must have been really nailed on. Does anyone have a clip of it? Doubt they'll show it on the highlights.

Here you go - it's much clearer in the slow-mo at the end that Sibley completely missed the ball and just kicked Lloyd in the stomach: https://streamable.com/n848ni

He didn't book Lloyd for diving, so obviously thought that there had been contact...so how in the world isn't it a penalty?

Just looked at the stream above.
It's difficult to see on the first viewing so how would the ref see it.
Second time 50.50
Third time know where the contact is you have seen them given.

We (still) need a goal scorer if we are to stay in this league.

We are running out of time in January and games.

Hey but at least we will have £300k in bank from Oxford.

Someone remind me how much revenue we will lose dropping to L2? Doesn't the revenue increase a lot for L1 next season?

At least the board got the DC descion right.

Darrell is a man-management genius. The way he mentions the injustice (the penalty) to generate a bit of anger in the boys, but sprinkles in a bit about poor decision-making and learning from the mistakes that led to the goals.

If I was a player, I'd be feeling a burning sense of injustice, tempered with a desire to get out on the training pitch and fix those mistakes. I love this guy.

Well, the video isn't that high quality but it still looks pretty nailed on first time to me. Live, it looked like a penalty, you've got fans who were right down the other corner of the stadium who said it looked like a nailed on penalty, and the opposition manager saying it was a penalty. The ref was closer than any of us, and it's his job.

I watched it three times - first time I thought he kicked Lloyd in the gut, second time I thought he kicked Lloyd in the gut and the third time.....I thought he kicked Lloyd in the gut.

From the away end, I thought he kicked Lloyd in the gut.

You can guarantee if that was at the other end Derby are getting a penalty 1000 times out of 1000. It's a massive foul and not even remotely debatable.

If it had happened in the PRE/Block 1 corner, I guarantee that's getting given.
