I've just read that NBO was recalled by Arsenal rather than being sent back. Maybe they want him to be getting regular minutes which he clearly wasn't getting here.

Possibly 3 more incoming and a departure before 11😲.

Has DC turned into Martin Allen?!?!

The messaging was quality and experienced over quantity at the start of January....if three more come in, even with Thompson, NBO and Goodwin gone, that's the quantity argument blown.

Let's just see who the "three more incoming" are - players with L1 experience with points to prove or promising youngsters looking for their first loan spell?

Street is effectively gone aswell (for the season) if his injury is as bad as feared.

The frequency of games is also higher than earlier in the season so we need the numbers.

We have lost all the other loanees as well since Darrell came in.

Heck. From the summer: 7 loans + Thompson + Smith = not here any more.

Feels like Darrell is moving the pieces around to create budget. Big earner incoming??

Could be some gambles on the bench?

You missed Ashead extending his loan
Also Goodwin
so if my maths are correct but if they are wrong I am sure someone will correct me
5 incomers with 2 more promised

I bet Rusty and Paul G have been keeping the plates spinning
but I think it may very well end in tears

Edit JP saying not done yet

I was making the point about last summer’s signings. 9 of those that came in have already gone.

Nine, I said.

Seven loans, plus Thompson, Smith and Goodwin gone.

Taylor, Kinsella, Nuttall, Shepherd, Harrup and two more.

10 out, 7 in. Aye, a reduction, and Street out injured for what sounds like some time.

JP tweeting Street likely to miss rest of season with knee injury.
Greg Sloggett midfielder expected to be offered a contract after his trial.

Sloggett in place of Curtis as a backup midfielder able to cover RWB makes sense.

Is Sloggett the player due to be completed today, or is there someone else to come?!?

Was wondering if Kinsella was cover for Long, either him or Sloggert maybe do a job.
He should have been a cricketer with a name like that.

That's it after Sloggert according to JPs latest article. Feel like Goodwin hasn't been replaced but this lad from Bath looks promising. Hopefully see a few glimpses of him this season and he can kick on after Pre Season. Haven't had a player with that flair and desire to drive the ball forward for a long while.

Sloggert is the phonetic spelling of his name in a Gloucestershire accent. Do keep up.
