Any idea on the fee? I don’t mind this at all provided we’ve not paid over the odds, if we’re going to have young and highly rated wingers on the bench I’d rather they were under contract rather than loaned in

Goal scoring right winger /midfielder. 10 goals in 28 be it in lower league. Looks OK

Worst transfer window ever. Absolutely embarrassing.

Thinking about it...this may be a great signing.

Well, I’d suggest that this window proves that the last window was maybe the worst.

Time will tell. Would love to see your comment age badly 🤞

One for the future, and could be an inspired signing. Lets see what he is like before judging. But looks tricky.

We ought to be taking the occasional punt on a non-League players. Sounds promising, so good luck to the lad.

Yup, especially local ones.

A young player with ability on the ball, can run at defenders, has a decent shot on him, a decent cross, and was being looked at by Championship clubs.

Oh no, what have we done...

I think if this had been done at 2pm yesterday, the reaction across the board would be different - wonder if we were trying to keep it under wraps until it was too late for one of the bigger teams watching him to jump in.

Yeah good to take a punt, like we did with Sido Jombati and Mo Eisa. 🙌

I honestly think this is the only issue with the signing - the club post at 10:40 or so "don't go to bed just yet" and then announce the signing of a lad from 3 divisions below. It's not what you're expecting to be announced as a big signing at 11pm!

The more I read, the more excited I am by this signing, but the build-up left it feeling like a damp squib, and that's not really fair on the lad.

Exactly.

“I see we’ve blown our Goodwin-model by signing that Taylor who is over the hill. Boo, hiss”

We sign young Jordan Thomas.

“What are we doing? Young and inexperienced? We’re in a dogfight ffs! Boo, hiss”

Signing Taylor isn’t the problem. The 2.5 year deal is the problem.

We should be sat here watching his highlights videos (ok, against semi-pro cloggers but still)

He's got that languid running style reminiscent of Chris Waddle...looks to be all left foot but some of the best players in the world were incredibly one-footed too.

He's a young fella from nearby so we should give him the chance🤔

Anyone reckon Jordan Thomas looks like Will Armitage.

Talking of Will Armitage he will be looking for a loan out for development in the next yr or 2. Russ keep an eye out.

Seeing him score against Eastbourne, reminds me that one of our more recent mistakes. Now has a record down there of played 5 W-1 D-1L-3. Not pulling up any trees and still looking at relegation

The Chris Waddle style I can see for sure, but he also reminds me of Josh Low, when Josh was at his best. Jordan has that same ability to drop the shoulder, throwing defenders off balance, twist and turn to leave them standing, and he has a lovely left foot shot or a cross. Not surprised other clubs had been alerted and if he delivers at League 1 level he will surely progress further. If I was a Bath City supporter I would be gutted to see him go, but the Romans’ fans all want to see the lad do well. I shall look forward to seeing him play. Could be the little bit of magic we have been missing.

He certainly doesn't lack confidence in his own ability

Obviously to be taken for what is but a poster on Bath City forum believes there was a low minimum fee release clause. So presumably no sell on % either if the move proves a success

That said getting way ahead of myself - looks a neat player with potential, good luck JT
