Oh dear referee. Pett (I think) caught after playing the ball, no foul, but the keeper then gets a free kick for Keena being within touching distance when he dropped the ball.

Given he has barely picked him until there was no other option, I suggest not a lot.
why’s he at the club then?

Nuttall off. Thank god. I'd be surprised if Harrop and Thomas don't play wide/behind of Keena.

Last minute January window punt on a big man in the desperate hope he would come good.

Even the Oxford co-commentator said that was definite foul on Harrop on the edge of their area.

If Long ever puts a decent ball into the box sometime that would be fantastic.

Here we go, Goodwin to make it 2-0, as Pett now seems to be injured as well.

It’s worrying that we don’t seem to have anyone capable of sticking the ball in the net.
After saying that we’re hardly creating s### loads of chances!

Chosen by the Manager who had followed him for a long time

Goal scoring has been a problem at Cheltenham going back since we got back in to the EFL with G Johnson. Hardly average 1 a game over all that time.

What the absolute f#!$ have we been doing since scoring FFS. Absolute s#!t. Tuesday all over again, Goodwin to score a third in injury time.

How is it that every time one of their player’s hits the deck they get a free kick but when our players get fouled and go down we get nothing. Is it because they roll about and squeal and we don’t.

We can't stand up to a period of pressure. Every single time we fold after about 6 or 7 minutes of it.

More aimless long balls and hooks forward. Bad decision making all over the pitch. The disappointment and frustration grows.

Thomas with 5 Oxford players around him. Not a single red shirt making themselves available to help him out.

94th minute with Bradbury up front and NOW we decide to start trying to play it around at the back instead of lumping it forward. Unbelievable.

f#!$ this game. I'm done (til next Saturday when we get to do it all again yippee)

Start preparing for League 2 football next season now because Cheltenham are down without a doubt.

We needed a big striker with experience and probably signed the one we able to afford and who was willing to sign. Same we way we end up with most signings.

Because Nuttall is a big unit I thought he'd be decent in the air. WRONG
Because he's a professional footballer I thought he'd be able to kick a football. WRONG AGAIN.

Darrell admitted he was a punt but its a bit like me thinking that my old Ford Sierra was a reliable shed and so 10 years later buying it again.
All that could be afforded.

Happens in every away game .Vs large crowds - decisions against Derby/Bolton/Wigan and now here don't go our way. Lloyd kicked in the guts - no penalty. Lloyd onside goal vs. Bolton not given. Taylor fouled vs. Wigan in the run up to their equaliser. 50/50s given against us today. The only positive for us today was that Lloyd wasn't given his usual kicking 😂🙄

Another positive from going down would be that I don't have to listen to that drivel from the Oxford commentators on iFollow...

Poor passes, poor crosses and poor formation (again).

That said the defence weren't too bad and Sloggett better than I thought so maybe an option for league 2

El Glosico may well be back on next season :o

Very bad decisions on the striker front over the last year has left us where we are. Always chasing the quick £

I know DC likes to surprise everyone with team selections but starting with 10 men was bold. If Nuttall ever gets near the team again I will be shocked. Would rather start the youngsters.

Another buffoon of a ref who gave any little touch on them a foul and not us, was telling Luke to get on with it from early when the ball went into the wasteland behind the goal, but 2nd half did he do the same to their keeper? Did he heck.

We were very toothless until the changes. Dont care how inexperienced Thomas is, he has to start. Harrop did well too and Sloggett looks a player, surprised he has not played before on this cameo appearance. Also not sure why we needed to take Kins (who was excellent again) off for Bonds unless he was hurt as this seemed to lose us some momentum in midfield.

Think thats it now, too much to do and not enough goal threat and sick of shipping late goals.

Totally agree. The board have left DC high and dry. They knew we were going to make a big loss and we needed the cash so they sold Alfie for peanuts (League One top scorer again!!) and cashed in on Goodwin because they felt that short-term money was preferable to goals and therefore League One survival.
